windows vista

are you having problems with vista? i have 2 computers that have it and have had nothing but. it is slower than my xp. now i have researched it and what i found that might be my problem is that vista was pushed on pc's that wernt built up enough for it. can anyone tell me how i can rectify this issue and make vista work better for me

how much RAM is in the computer, you might need to bump it up a little you need a minimum of 1 gig of ram, 2 gig is better I have been using Vista for 5 months now and it is not slow and the system works great.

I had nothing but problems with Vista, I took it out and changed my computer to XP. I have had success with it everytime.

no i am not having any problem with windows vista .. by the way i am enjoying it ... and it is good then windows xp

I absolutely hate vista. I agree with you, ...it is slower than my xp. I also find it slow to start up if I turn it off. I usually put it under "sleep" as it takes a little less time to boot up. I have trouble getting on line with my sprint card and I'm not sure if it is Vista or not. I cannot find files as easily under their search mode as I use to find when I had XP. ..... I had read it was not as good. But everything is updating to Vista, so you can't back up. walkgal "
