Do anybody have as many problems with web browsers as I do! I can't stand Internet Explorer period. no matter what version is current. Its always crashing. In order for it to run at least 50% of the time I have to turn off all features i.e. add ons, menu bar and all third party web browsers. Firefox is the best browser I have ever used. Another browser is "Maxthon 2". Firebox beats them all.

the reason for Ur Browser to crash is any addon's you recently installed that's either corrupted or in compatable with your browser.
so just try removing any recently installed addon
According to me both Internet Explorer and FireFox are good Browsers in their own way
Am testing ie8 beta 2 ,it got lots of new features which were not avialable in ie8 beta 1
and it even loads in under 2 seconds
so i feel its better now when compared to ie7.
if you still face problems with ur browser try un-installing and then reinstall the browser should fix the problem.

I disabled everything that was causing IE 7 and IE beta 8 was having issues with. I just don't have any patience anymore. I left it in the program files. I disabled all the add-ons. I just don't get. I have been many times to Microsoft website for solutions they just don't work. Maybe something will happen in the future to help with this. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.

What's your system specs? Are you sure that your computer supports web browsing?
Another question to ask if you have checked your computer for viruses, malware and spyware. These things could be hiding in your computer and disrupt your computer's workings.
Are you using a firewall? If so, has it been updated?
I've heard of Firefox crashing, but if you're using Maxthon then it's an ancient browser. How old is your computer and what operating system are you using anyway?

In response to your questions. I bought HP (Hewlett-Packard) PC. Browser pre-installed Internet Explorer 7. I use McFee Suite for security on my personal computer. My computer is scanned for viruses, malware and spyware continuously on schedule and defragmented daily. I use Windows Defender and Windows Firewall for protection as well. All of my programs are updated, when updates are released, I download and install. With Firefox, I had another version running, which I removed and installed the newer version, I haven't had any problems since, with Firefox. Maxthon might be old/ancient it works better than Internet Explorer 7 and the newer version Internet Explorer 8(beta). My computer is one year old. My operating system is "Windows Vista Ultimate" 32-bit operating system. Any help on how to stop Internet Explorer from crashing is greatly appreciated. Everything is updated on my system.

Hmm... if it's a Vista computer then I can't help you much because I don't really use Vista. Sorry about that.

I'm in the exact opposite situation. The only time I used Firefox on my laptop, it would always crash on me; I never got past the error boxes just to view a single page. Internet Explorer on the other hand, has worked for me every time.

Internet Explorer 7 came with my computer, pre-installed. Thats why I used it before I began searching for another internet browser. Firefox is it.
