I like Stridex. It is a face wash that is blue and comes out as foam when pumped.

There are some acne medications you can take but you'll have to see a dermatologist for them and they can have very serious side effects. There is one where you can't get pregnant or your baby will get birth defects. Just make sure you wash your face in the morning and in the evening. Avoid oily foods, drink lots of water and try not to stay up so late.

I heard that pro active works very well. I know it seems expensive, but I had a friend who used it and it worked.

Hi! I feel for you. I have the same problem. I finally went to the dermatologist and he gave me Benzamycin topical gel, 5% benzoyl peroxide gel, and Differin Gel .1% adapalene. I've been using for about a month now, and it has made me breakout even worse, though they are not the big cystic lumps anymore, just small whiteheads. The doc told me that would happen, but I didn't know it would last this long. I tried Murad and Proactiv, but neither one of them did any good. My skin would get better for a few weeks, then it would go right back. I'll let you know if the new stuff works!
