amy124 I love to travel. The Marine Corps takes me all over the world. I've been to all of the 50 states and Guam, except Alaska and Florida. I've lived in Okinawa and spent 6 months in Fallujah, Iraq. I've spent time in Ireland, Kuwait, Mexico, and Canada.

Since I was a little girl we always had a real tree..a tradtion I kept going..I love the smell of the pine needles..and it looks just so much prettier.The only thing I don't like it the clean-up...sometimes it seems like I find...

amy124 Same for us. There is just too much other stuff going on to worry about constantly watering, picking up fallen needles, and dreading the clean up. Plus, the kids have fun helping put the tree together. Like a HUGE 3D puzzle!

amy124 I'm in the planning phase right now. I've got the kids making lists of what they want. I did buy an ornament that I saw on a display that went up two weeks ago, but is wasn't a gift, so I don't think that counts.

amy124 I agree with the point that they have repaid their debt to society, so allow them to vote again. Perhaps those that have served time are better qualified to vote on on propositions to reform prisons or for candidates that are proposing changes to the prison...
