Whose Smarter Women or Men

I think that both sexes are intellegent, its a discriminatory thing if you compare the sexes. Some woman in real world are thinking of too much in terms of their situations but men have higher thinking in poor countries because they think on how to increase their wages or earn by more hardwork with their jobs. But the idea of both sides are the same.

I think they are both just as smart. But what is smartness? I think you need to approach two things when examining smartness of a person: 1) the knowledge itself and 2) the area on which the knowledge is applicable (e.g. cars vs. cooking) Because men or mostly smarter than women concerning cars. And women smarter concerning cooking. So I don't think smartness is an objective matter and rather relative. So in my opinion it just depends which domain you examine. If you mean the knowledge of history, mathematics, philosophy etcetera I also think they both are just as smart but then it depends who studies the most.. and I think girls are way better at studying/ concentrating than boys..

mens are smarter .. because they are intelligent then woman .. and they can solve any problem which they face ... and only man can get power ... womans cant do any thing ...

I think when it comes to book-smarts and rote memorization, men are smarter. My dh can rant off football stats for 40 or so players over a 10 year span (which is something I just don't give a darn about, so I don't know even one of those stats). He could also score better on many of the chemistry exams we took (though I beat him in math). But when it comes to logical thinking, problem solving, and coming up with multiple solutions to a common problem, I think women have the upper hand. There's a reason why when we packed for vacation and my dh loaded the car, the family couldn't fit with all the stuff; but when I reorganized it, all the stuff & people fit, and we could even see out the rear window:) Like any rule, there will be exceptions to this stereotype, but that's my humble opinion.

Based on my research it says that men are more smarter than women. Mens IQ is almost four points higher than woman.You can find some women excel than men that's because they have that intellegence based on the race they come from. Happy myloting!

This is a double edged sword. Your talking about two different sexes that are world's apart. I think females are smarter in someways and I think males are smarter in others. If you combined both sexes good points you would probably have close to the perfect human. I just don't think any one side can win or prove this argument.

Women are definitely smarter. THey may not have conceprual clarity and logical thinking at all times but they are infinitely superior to men in quickly thinking of various possibilities and also in lateral thinking as regards day to day issues. They maynot be philosophers but they are determined survivors .This would always make them smarter.

I don't think that the question, as you pose it, is valid. Both sexes have totally different kinds of smarts and intelligences. Therefore, it would be like comparing apples with pears. And that's what usually makes this question so difficult to answer. And it's not only about intelligence, but women and men per se. I for one frankly don't understand women. Now, that might be construed as me being either sexist, smarter than or not as smart as women. That's not the case, I simply don't understand them, because they are different. It doesn't mean that I don't respect (and even sometimes love) them.

I believe men and women are two different creatures both having their own strengths and weakness. And I wouldn't say one is smarter than the other. It's safer to say that there are certain things than men can do better than us women while there are also stuff that we women do best than men. Science tells us men and women have different brains, none is superior nor inferior to each other. However dissimilar we are, we cannot exist without each other because we are made to compliment one another.

If I say men there is nothing spacial and if I opt for the Women a lot special. To day there is lot of men appearing not so and lot of women doing a lot and in the given situation to whom should I opt as smart these are Women and men otherwise in their place only.

Even though I am a woman I believe that men are smarter than women. I observed it in my classes. Men usually are on the top of the class during exams even though when you look at them it seems that they are not serious or giving much effort as women do. I think man's intelligence are "natural" unlike women that needs to study "hardest" just to obtain intelligence that men have. Anyway it is just my conclusion.

THEY ARE BOTH SMARTER IN THEIR OWN LITTLe ways, you cannot tell really whose smarter between two genders, because they have a unique characteristic of their own that can solve each problem and facing obstacles in life. Men think firm and precise while women think so meticolously and so smooth. So i can't decide whose smarter do you?

I believe theres no such man here in earth were given a reason to be mean,all are equal because we are created as human. the only difference is a gender a man and a woman but i think theres no superior in both part.

My vote goes to kids under 10! I have alot to do around kids and those little ones are some of the smartest people I have ever talked to! I have had more intelligent and meaningful conversations with kids than I have had with adults! Their little minds are just not so cluttered with so much that the intelligence is overshadowed with complicated clutter like us adults!

I agree that this is tricky. We need to start defining what SMART is all about. Men and women think differently. Men think differently from each other, same as women. Thinking and Feeling and tagging Meaning into things are not gender-based. It is determined by past experiences and values and culture and a lot of things that they have gone through life. Gender may be a basis for gender-sensitive issues, but thinking, if that is how we define being smart, is least gender-biased. We think differently. I think there is an issue from Time magazine regarding this topic. They base their result on studies conducted (And i mean science is involved). Men are smarter in many ways compare to women, women are more emotional men are logical. And we have to admit it, all great MEN are MEN. But Behind every great MEN is a woman.. except in modern GEEK infested age.

I don't think there is a correct answer to that. In this world there are smart men and smart women. There are also dumb men and dumb women. No comparison.

I think there are things were mens are better... and things where women are better. For example, mens are better on ractcal thinking and womens are better on creativity.
