Which is best for myLotting? Yahoo Mail Classic or Yahoo Mail Beta?

I am currently using Yahoo Mail Classic for my myLot notifications and find it hard to navigate through the messages I received. I am thinking of switching to Beta. What do you use for your myLot notification? Is it Yahoo Mail Classic or Yahoo Mail Beta? Which do you find most convenient to use for myLotting purposes? Or do you think I need other mail services like Gmail?

i'm still using yahoo mail classic coz i'm used to it. as much as possible i don't want to switch classic to a newer version coz you will be confused on the new layout, you will also put your time to explore it unlike the classic one. but i didn't say that i'm not open to changes, yeah i'm open to changes but just like what i have said, i will still prefer the classic one. for example here in mylot, when the layout has been changed, all of the members became confused coz they can't find the preferences, their earnings etc.. the only difference between the classic & the new version of anything else is the innovation, you will see a big difference on the new one..

I think Yahoo has that functionality too where you can assign certain mails to go to certain folders. The problem comes in when I have to open every mail one by one. Is it easier in hotmail to open mails, I mean, can you see the content of multiple messages at once? Have a nice day!

Right now, i'm using Gmail, and i think it should be the best among all ^_^ it's simple and easy to navigate through, though the interface is almost like, yahoo mail classic, but it should be alot neater ^_^ I dun like Beta, because it's more confusing and there are so many things appearing on the screen at the same time, that i wun really know which is which, and it takes me awhile b4 i get used to Beta ^_^ Still, i will prefer to use Gmail ^_^

I find the interface of gmail a little crowded. I think there are a lot of elements I don't really need. Yahoo Mail Classic looks a lot neater for me than Gmail. Is it easy to use for your myLotting? Have a nice day!

yes ,sohu is .but yahoo has english and chinese. netease is www.163.com maybe also chinese. i think maybe you can learn some chinese, but i think it has little effect to use mailbox in different language. the content of them are alike. tom also has mail, maybe you can have a try ,but i don't know if it has english type.

It really is easy to see the messages through Yahoo Mail Beta because there is already a preview even if you don't open the message. I think I will be using Beta. Have a nice day!

I mainly use AOL but many people seem to prefer Gmail to Yahoo. I use those, too, and do find Gmail easier, although AOL is still my favorite.

Maybe the fact that you have been using it for many years makes you more comfortable with it. I am trying to find one which I can be more comfortable with.

I am currently using Yahoo beta. It's pretty neat with the search function that easily helps you find a certain message you are looking for in your inbox. The only problem is, not all the messages in your inbox are loaded right away so you can't really view older messages instantly. I don't think you have to change your email service to gmail or anything.

I am also used to the Yahoo Mail Classic. But if using Yahoo Mail Beta would increase my speed in fishing for my mylot mails, that would definitely increase my posting speed. Have a nice day!

I prefer gmail because it contains greater storage capacity and the interface is much more user friendly than the others. There are no need for folders or sections. It is relatively easy to use.

While I was reading your discussion I was thinking about Gmail but I see you have Gmail in mind too, actually I never go to check those notification on mylot, I have them disable, I don't know if I should take care of them, I think a good idea would be using gtalk of Gmail because it is very light and will not low your system, there is a option too on Gmail to use the basic html version, and it is really good to navigate fast between messages even with a slow computer or while you have many windows open at same time.

I don't know about the gtalk. Is it just a messenger or a mail service too? And maybe I should check on that basic html version. Have a nice day!

Well, i also use yahoo mail classic, but since i don't use many of the mylot notifications i couldn't really advise you to change it to another one. I like the interface of the classic yahoo so that works for me i guess.

Hey richiem. I am using Yahoo Mail Classic for mylot emails. I switced to the Mail Beta but found it too confusing and switched right back to the Mail Classic. It is up to the individual. I find it easier to work with the Classic. I tried the Beta and didn't like it. You can always try it and if you don't like it you can always switch it back like I did. You may find that you prefer it. I use AOL for my other email. I like to keep Yahoo for mostly mylot because it takes up alot of space and I get alot of other emails at my AOL address.

I have tried using the Beta but I switched back to Classic because I am more used to it. And before, I am having problems with beta because it takes forever to load. But I think they have improved it now. Have a nice day!

I have seen the Yahoo Mail Beta. The search function that you are saying can also be found in the Classic. But it is more seen in the Beta Version. However, I haven't used that function. Have a nice day!

Mines may be the Beta.. I know that it has smaller writing to it. And it is very hard to delete. I like the regular Yahoo better.. This may be the classic..

I get that. Beta has smaller fonts and takes long to load. That is why I have switched back to classic after I have tried using the Beta Version. Have a nice day!

I already tried the New Yahoo or the Beta version, long before I start mylotting. I found it hard to use it, I guess it is because with the pc memory that hangs with the beta version. So I find it more convenient using the Classic version of Yahoo. I will not be switching back again to Beta.
