what an experience.....

Yesterday, i went to my mother's doctor to get the long time overdue receipt for the operation done last June 9, 2008. I paid 15thousand pesos for the doctor's fee but the doctor was not able to give me the receipt which need for the reimbursement and will file it in our office.
I kept asking him long before about the receipt but he never ran out of excuses as if I have all the time in the world to wait for the receipt.
Yesterday was really something wierd and a very scary experience for me. I went there at 2pm and texted him that im already waiting for him at his clinic which is closed, he arrived at about 4:30, fresh face yet grogy and maybe hungry for ts ramadan time and he is a muslim.
Alone in his clinic, half awake half asleep he asked me to massage his head, ( yikes), and tried to grab my hand try to let it massage his head, i managed numerous times to snatch my hand out of his, but he keeps getting it bacck, and I would grab it away from him. Now he wants me to massage his back, yikes again.
I tried to talk to him about any issue possible just to divert the attention while waiting for the receipt.
It took so long and he still didnt gave me the receipt, so I decided to go out and he said he would drop me at the terminal. He asked for a kiss so it was the perfect time to really bid him goodbye.
I escaped and ran away as fast as i could and boarded the bus for home.

Good for you but I still think you need to report this. others that he has probably done this too may also be afraid to tell and he will get away with it what if he gets a young girl in there that dont know how to handle herself and he rapes her!?

it will work to your advantage if he is a moslem actually
moslems defend their religion badly against christians
if you can proof what he did
he may even be disowned by his own people because he would ruin their image

Well, im not that kind of person. I dont know what he did to his other patients, maybe he cant do this to them coz they are muslims and maybe since im a christian maybe he thinks im helples and wont fight back, well he was certainly wrong about it, he received a few blows from me using my cellphone to knock his hand off my hand.

i agree with previous poster, you should report him to someone
you can always change doctor but he will keep doing that to others if you don't do anything about it

he is lucky he doesn't work or live here
you could easily sue him and he will lose everything
i hope something is done about the law in your country

I think you should report this !! He was taking advantage of the fact that you need this receipt to be reinbursed and if he would take advantage of you then imagine what he does to his patients who may not have the opportunity to escape from him .
What he did goes against ethic conduct and he should not be a doctor if this is how he is treating them .

I dont know if he is really making the delay on purpose, he knows that I need it badly and he keeps on promising me to give it to me but still to no avail. I have given him the ultimatum this friday if he will not give it to me, then I will ask the hospital admin about this case.

Some people just leave a very bad remark on all other people too. Like he was a muslim as you said in your discussion, I think all muslims are not the same as he was. He wasn't fasting because if a muslim is fasting, he can't do such things as he was doing. He was behaving like he was drunk. You must report his bad attitude to the Hospital Dean or admin because in my opinion, such people must be taught a lesson they never forget thoughout their lives.

It wont take for me to ask somebody to do that. I will tell him personally and will try to tell him everything he did to me was not good.

You should have definitely complained against him and would had given him a nice slap when he was trying to misbehave with you.
Instead of being a professional he was trying to get involved with you.
This kinda doctors are a black slot on the society.Today he has done this with you and tomorrow this could happen to your daughter too. so these kind of people must get the right treatment and a lesson should be taught to them that could be a lesson and an example before others.

Do you have a local or state medical board there? That is totally inappropriate conduct and he should be reported. We don't allow that kind of behavior in this country. A doctor who does that can lose his medical license for doing that.

Hi Zel,
wow...that was rude! Maybe he is really making it because he wanted you! That is not good! I will be very mad if he will asked me to do it, he should act professionally because he is a doctor!
Anyway, I am wondering what will you do after that? Take care!

I dont know if he really wanted me, maybe he is just testing how far can I fight him, or how far can I ignore his unprofessional acts. Im just glad I was strong enough. if I was weak maybe something bad happened to me.
Thank you very much my friend.

I think you should report this doctor to the hospital admin... his conduct is so unbecoming of a professional doctor... and the fact that did not issue a receipt is already a violation of a certain law... you can alse report him to the DTI... and PRC... so that his license will be revoked... if he did that to you... it is so possible that he did that to someone else... and will possible do it again to an unsuspecting victim...
