How can you be eco-friendly?

I think being eco-friendly is quite important, so that we can sustain the earth's resources by using them wisely and not cause any more damage to the earth, or lessen the impact that make. Every person has a part to play in this. Whether its recycling your trash, or changing your lightbulbs. Or turning lights off when you're not using them, or turning off your computers. Some people install solar panels to generate their own electricity (though that's not really practical for me). Whatever it is, you intend to help the earth by taking it into your own hands. What is it that you can do, to become more eco-friendly?
