When you go to a library, what is the general kind of books that you take home? Are there more fiction or non-fiction? I've come to the conclusion that I could never read all the books that I check out, so I've limited myself to non-fiction books. I like just thumbing through books that are the large coffee table style books, instructional, inspirational, books on humor, travel, etc. I like going through them when I have a few minutes to spare. I like the Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Patricia Cornwell type of books. I am kind of a book fanatic though so it is hard for me to go to the library and only come home with as many books as I can read in 2 weeks. I am a sucker for a suspense crime drama type book, but I also love craft books, books on Christianity, cookbooks, you name it!

loved, I've got so many fiction books to read at home that I haven't gotten to, that's why I decided to go for just the nonfiction books. After I finish reading a fiction book I love to go through one of my non-fiction books before I go to sleep at night. I like doing that better than going through a magazine. DCMerkle

Its hard for me to go into the library and not come home with atleast 10 books to read. The majority of what i read are fiction - mystery, science fiction, fantasy or romance to be exact. I occasionally will take out books on scrapbooking, quilting, pcs and internet, horses, dogs etc.

saundyl, I've got you beat there. I have the advantage of going to the library on my power scooter. I have a book bag that hangs on the back of my chair and I keep 1-2 reuseable grocery bags that I can fill with books and set one of them between my feet in front of me. I'd say that's as close to taking them home by the truck loads as I can....lol DCMerkle

our library has a limit of 50 books out at once so...i tend to be hovering around the 45-50 limit.

I take home a variety of books, but the only non-fictions books I take home are novellisations of history. Most of the time I tend to take sci-fi, fantasy and mythology books home bot for enjoyment and for my writing. For everything else, there's the Internet.
