My computer is 5 years old. I updated it last year and it works great. My laptop is about 3 years old but I save so much stuff on it it's really slow. I need some more RAM I think.

Hi, here's a bit of information for you if it helps! If you are thinking about increasing your ram then there's a very good site that you can go to it's www.cruical.com On this site you have do a free scan and it looks inside your system to tell you the ram that you already have and also the amount of ram that you can increase your system to. It also matches compatible memory. I have already tried this and I actually have 512MB of ram at the moment but I'm going to increase my ram to 1GB. Goodluck anyway. Andrew

My laptop is already 5 years old now and its old enough because some hardware like the keyboard is not fully function, but I'm proud of my laptop because it survive many times and its fine. I'm planning to buy new but I have no money and someday if I have any then it must be true. Its pentium II but it works perfectly for browser and
I don't mind the games.

Hi wenczmastah, the computer I had been using for 7 years couldn’t function anymore. The technician told me it was not worth to repair again for it was rather costly to get the spoiled parts replaced. So I bought my desktop that I currently use in May of last year. It is about 16 months old now. It has a 19 inches elongated rectangular LCD. I’m quite happy and satisfied using it for it serves the purpose very well
posting and have a nice day.

Well, my computers is made of components. The newest is my video card (from spring last year) and my oldest is my processor which i have from the summer of 2004 (wow that is old) - i know i will have to change them soon, but since i also have a laptop that is better i am not in a hurry.

my laptop is of one and half years old and i am satisfied with it first i had more problems when i was not having an antivirus and i think there was a hit of virus and i had problems and it was really disappointing but from the time we have learnt to keep our laptop secure from the virus we are really happy and from then we have no problems.
sometimes the processing becomes slow when you have downloaded some of the new softwares and its really not matching with your operating systems and i had faced this so can also just see and if you immediately remove that may be your system will run again in the same speed.

We still have the old one in our house and that one is 10 years old. The one I'm suing right now is only 3 or 4 years old now. However, we still have the same monitor from 10 years ago. Which I'd like to change and get a flat screen. I'm tired of looking at this big bulky monitor. I need an upgrade on tons of electronics.

I have a lot of computers in my house. But the oldest one has like mm 8 years =). Its still going strong and the only thing I have replaced from it is the Hard Disk.
Other than that, with regular maintainance, its running smooth and fast. With windows xp obviously xD.
