What is the ideal Number of children?

About two or three children is enough for me because if I have anymore than that I might drive myself insane.

i have two other siblings..we are all girls..my husband comes from a big family and also my parents come from a very big family..right now i have 3 small children..my ideal number would have been 2 only but then my youngest daughter came into our lives..so i say three...its more than enough for me..i have one more i think i get crazy..kids can be so tiresome sometimes..and its very hard to feed them nowadays..i can't afford it anymore.

having 2-3 kids is enough as long as you can support all of their needs but if not, having one child is enough...Me, i want to have 3 kids if ever we can raised them all well. happy mylotters!

I think the isue of children today depends on personal preference and individual financial status. personally i would like to have three kids.

Hi Dong, I believe having 2 kids makes the family complete. Having 2 kids is ideal because you are able to give them proper attention they want and deserve and also the kids have the company and support of each other. We are 2 sisters and have been the best friends of each other since childhood.

i think 3 would be enough,especially when you've got all boys. They will drive you crazy at times. as for me, my eldest is a girl and 2 boys. The boys usually will always disturbed the eldest.

that varies from couple to couple really...I mean if a couple wants to have 15 kids and CAN AFFORD IT AND manage it emotionally and physicially etc etc then the ideal number for them would be 15...if a couple doesnt want any kids at all then the ideal number would of course be 0 and so on...

If I could afford it my dream family would be 2 girls and 2 boys. I have 2 girls right now and we keep going back and forth on having another to try for that boy. I dont' want another one just yet. My girls are still pretty young but it would be nice to have one more.

We are five siblings in the family and thank God there was no problem in raising us. But nowadays, I guess five is much because life is hard. I'd say that the ideal number of children that a couple could have would be one or two. Good day dong!

Wel I have only one but I originally wished for at least 2. However, 3 kids is perhaps the most ideal if the family can afford to support financially. And if really very rich, they can produce kids as much as they want. It all depends on their financial capability and also the health of the wife must also be considered. I think it is so risky if the wife is bearing child always. I am also very sad for those irresponsible parents who keep on adding and adding kids when they are jobless. I have one niece who married at a very young age and he has 4 kids now but no regular job. Now I am the one supporting along with my other niece. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

For me it depends of the situation if I can afford to give them a good future, maybe 4 children will be nice. I have 2 brothers and one sister and our family is growing so fast because we all married now. Thanks

hi dong. i think your family is just perfect. two kids, a boy , a girl. it's a nice family. now a days a family comprises of only three members. people think that three members in a family is perfect because of the day to day life and cost of living. four members is ideal according to me. happy mylotting!

yah, in my opinion, two kids would be enough. i mean if you're that lucky and blessed to have a boy and a girl then that would be perfect already :)

Hi there Dong! I think that having two children is the ideal number of kids that a family should have. We only have one son and we may have another child when I graduate from college in about three years.

I think 3 sounds good. I'm single right now and very young to have a family :D My mother came from an even bigger family, she had 10 siblings. My father had 5 siblings. I think they thought their childhood was too crowded so decided to only make 4 babies :D I'm third. Two sounds very convenient, however, the more the many-er.. I mean, the merrier! right? But then too many also has its financial disadvantages. Frankly I want a big family someday. So I guess I have to keep mylotting to make sure I save up enough for that (another joke, i'm sooorrii :D too perky)
