Just yesterday I found that I have not enabled the "Notify me" link for many of my friends. I was so sad that I have missed many of my friend's discussions..So I spent some time to enable the feature. It was about 11pm when I last checked my mail box. Today morning when I checked my mail, I was so surprised to see that my mailbox had over 137 mails..I have never recieved so many mails..Few were about the responses I have got and many..many about the new discussions started by my friends..oh..I never guessed these many discussions would be started in mylot overnight. It would be more if I had unchecked my mail for a day. Have you ever recieved more than 100 emails in a day.

Well.. I got that once in every week. I always have more than 200 emails every Friday, because it was when the trading is allowed in one of the mailing list where I've joined. It is good that my e-mail provider gave me big space to keep the mails. I usually would read the subjects and only keep the subjects that might be interesting, but if there isn't i would surely erase them all. LOL. But yeah... I have received those emails...

Yes, when you submit your mail id at any site, there are higher chances of getting spam mails. You mail id would be automatically shared at many sites and so you would be recieving lots of junk mails. It is always better to have a separate mail id for online registrations and other miscellaneous works. This helps you to have an organised personal mail id.

yes, that is a biggest problem. Once I had to be away from my home for a week. I could not check my mails on all these days. When I returned back, I was astonished to find around 1150 mails in my inbox. Cleaning the inbox itself took more than 2 hours..

That is true. When you join yahoo groups, you would be recieving tons of mails. I was also a member of few yahoo groups before 2 months. But after seeing the loads of mails that I recieve, I unsubscribed from them. It is a real waste. I did not even read a single mail that I got.
