First, let me ask you what is substantial to you? Everyone has different expectations I believe. I write for Triond regularly. I have 60 over articles at Triond. Last month my earnings came up to more than $30. Substantial enough for you? If you think that you can make lots of money with just one article, that's not how it works at Triond. You need to write more to see your earnings go up. Unless you wrote a very popular article and everyone comes to read it. Then your earnings can jump quite high. You also need to promote, promote and promote your articles to get more pageviews. Alternatively, you can try selling your articles at Constant Content instead. There you can put a price to your article.

It may take a little while before you really start earning on sites like that. I would check out what else is out there. I've seen a ton of sites that are there for people that want to post actual articles. If you're ever interested in photography, check out http://www.bigstockphoto.com/?refid=vaBbV0eXbp They pay a bit more than the other photo sites. Good luck!

you have to post more many things like articles and blogs and pictures to start earn a reasonable amount of money
with one article or two i think it is useless for you
