do you answer your phone if someone calls on a private number?

i do...but there was a time there when i was avoiding someone and they had their no on private all the time so i never answered. If its someone i dont wanna talk to i just say so. hehe

I would not give my private number to everyone, it is only for special people... so if i've given that number to someone he/she has to be special and i have answer that call.

I do not answer unidentified calls or calls from unknown numbers. If it is someone who really wants to reach me or if it is important, they will leave a message. I don't want to pick up the phone to find someone trying to push encyclopedias down my throat or trying to talk me into a donation to an organization I never heard of...I have better things to do with my time.

I never answer those calls. Sometimes though I miss out on a call if a friend calls on a cell phone and does not reveal his or her number. Eventually though we do connect either in person or by e-mail

It depends on my mood, if it is an inconvenient time then often I don't as anyone that knows me does not hide their number. There's nothing worse than being interrupted while doing something important by a stranger trying to sell you something and waste your time.

yes i do answer it. but now i started to stop answering it cos it tends to get annoying nowing that they can call without private number, so wots the point of them to hide there number.
