I love most of the characters. I consider all of them important. I ofcourse like Harry Potter, Ron, Hermione. I also love Ginny-love of Harry Potter. I also love Neville who will play a very important role in the last series. I also love Professor Dumbledore and Snape. Oh, i love Snape! For those who do not know the ending, well... there will be a twist in Professor Snape's character. So watch out for that.

My favourite character is Professor Dumbledore. He is such a nice person. He is a fatherly figure to Harry. He is an expert at his field that is magic. Everybody is convinced of his grandeur. But the thing I like most about him is that despite all that He is not arrogant and very humble. Despite being as good as Voldemort he does not choose the bad path but uses his abilities to save people and he gives his life for the greater good of humanity.

I would have to say the one professor of I forget her name right now, but she is the head of Griffendor house. I know her first name is Minerva. Anyway I had a professor like her, tough to an extent but would do anything to help her students and really cares about their well being. Thats the kind of teacher I would like to be one day.

My favorite character would probably be Hermione. Why? Because I WAS Hermione in school. Over-achiever, top of the class, know it all, bit snotty at times - I even ended up with my own Ron! (Although my Ron physically looks quite a bit like Harry!) I really identified with Hermione, particularly at first, when she was more socially awkward. I saw myself in her.
The most fascinating character, though, is without a doubt Snape. I found myself second guessing his motivations right up until the end - I couldn't figure him out at all. And even know, I don't think Snape was a good man overall, despite what he did. Snape was NOT a good man - he did good things at times, yes, but overall was weak and selfish and cruel. The good deeds he did were done out of guilt - not out of some abiding need to do good. Absolutely fascinating.

Professor Snape is my favorite character. There were times where I couldn't stand him, but always hoped that he would end up being one of the good guys. I wish there were more details about his character. His character was one of many that I enjoyed learning about as I read the series.

It's a close call, but I'd have to say Draco Malfoy, with Harry himself as a close second. I love Draco's complexity. I love that he's an elitist snob, but has moments where you can see his insecurity. I especially loved it when he was crying in the bathrooms. I think that was one of his most human moments. And, of course, I like the dynamics between Harry and Draco. Very amusing, IMHO.
