Adsense: Western Union or Cheque, Which one is better?

I have received a cheque from Adsense for amount of USD123. Since I am not from US, I believe it is going to be a bit expensive to clear the cheque. I heard, that payment through Weatern Union is much better an more convinient. Is this through?

a close friend of mine too requested his earnings by western union as it is very convenient in getting it than the cheque which in some won't accept it. whereas in western union you only need your ID to claim it and as long as you have many branches (which i am quite sure that they have tons) in your area then it won't be a problem at all. the only thing is, i am not sure of the charges that you would incur if you request for WU, that if it is reasonable or fair enough.
