Saying Goodbye to friends

I just simply say goodbye and a hug!

it depends, when it is my close girl friends i whould give hugs and kisses but if is just a friend no need to it specially to a man because they may think of something between me and him.

Hi there MFlower! It actually depends. Usually, if they're just my friends and I always see them from time to time, I just say bye. I only hug those people that I will be away from for a long period of time, like more than a month. But I always hug my relatives whenever we part. I always kiss my family.

For very good friends, I'll give them a hug. For others, I'll just wave and say bye.

I usually kiss on the cheek. But if it's a "goodbye for good" because he/she's leaving then a hug is required :) But if it's a see you around! Then a kiss on the cheek for the ladies and a slap on the shoulders for the guys :) Thanks for the comment on my discussion!

It still depends. To my friends, I just wave and say goodbye to them but to my bestfriend, we cheek to cheek and hug to each other.

Hugging and kissing is not that prevalent in this part of the world.We most of the time wave good bye.

I am sorry you only have a few responses to this great important discussion, friends are very important to each and everyone of us in life and certainly for me, I value friendship, and when I say goodbye I always hug my friends, I am a very tactile person and I feel a hug whether they are male or female is a very important part of expressing your love for your friends and that you appreciate them. Just saying goodbye is just for an aquaintance or work colleague, if they are a true close friend then a hug is what I give them.

I say good by and usually hug or kiss them. It depends how good of a friend they are. If it is the pool boy I will just say goodbye. It it is my girlfriends who come over all the time I hug them.
