I decided to dress my girls up as spiders. I make their costumes every year. I bought 4 pairs of black socks from the dollar tree and had some pillow stuffing to stuff those with and sewed it to black leotards and will put them with black tights. They are young ages 3 and 1. I need ideas for something for thier heads. I wanted to do a spider web somehow but not the white stuff they sell for decorations. What are you dressing up your kids as and do you make their costumes or just buy them?

They sell black (or other colored) wire webs you can use. Buy them both a black hat or something else to attach the web to. You can buy small and large webs.
Alternatively, if you are a bit more handy, you can use wool to create a spiderweb hat of sorts on your own.
Or buy a lace place setting. They often have designs that could pass for webs, if you take them apart.
My kids have not yet decided what they want to be. I usually buy the costume. I only made a Ghost costume and a Toothfairy costume myself.
I love your idea. But my kids are too old for me to decide what costume they should wear. Dang! I don't think they would go for being a spider....

Thanks for the idea. Yesterday I went to the dollar tree and lucked out. There were these cute headbands with orange pipe cleaners and a spider in the middle. I will take the top off somehow and put it on a cloth headband.
