Do you believe that other life exist outhere other than here?

universe, galaxy - The universe where we live in. Isn't it amazing how infinite it is.

I really love looking at the skies day or night. I like the clouds at day and stars at night. I don't believe in things like ghost and other things that we don't see. But there is one that I haven't seen or I may never see but I strongly believe that exist. That is "aliens". I mean as long as its not from earth then we call them aliens. I really believe that besides us there are other beings out there in the universe that exist. I think its just impossible that we're the only one's here in this whole universe. At night I look up at a star and think if there's another one there that's looking back here at earth. Don't think of me as crazy or anything. It's just what I believe. What about you. Do you?

There are so many things existing not only in this world, but all the worlds out there in space, we don't see with our physical eyes. Whether it be "aliens", or "ghosts," or whatever. There are ways to perceive the truth of the existence of these things, besides depending on our physical eyes. Our physical eyes are so limited in seeing so many things. We can't even see in the dark. I mean we know love exits, but we certainly don't see it with our eyes. Of course there is life "out there." It may not be the life we know of here on this planet, but it's out there. Even on this one planet, there are different kinds of life, of worlds, like the ocean. Of course there are ghosts, but they aren't scary or weird. They are just living without a gross body. Many people have seen them, many have not. There are people who've claimed to have seen "aliens," and many who have not. I just think it's weird that those of us how have not experienced ghosts, or aliens, or whatever, seem to feel that these things don't exist, and that the folks who have experienced them, are nuts. Humans are a strange lot, for sure. Rest assured, you are not crazy. Keep up your thinking about these things, and asking about them. Keep an open mind always. That's how you will learn the truth.

With how you explained it with ghost and things that we see and don't and things that other see and don't I understand clearly what your saying. It almost change my beliefs about these things for a second there. Hehe. Ofcourse love exist. It's something we feel. Its just as long as science doesn't have an explanation about it then I don't believe it. But whether science has an explanation if there is or there is no life out there, my belief that there is others out there will never change.

Can science prove the existence of love? They may be able to measure brain waves or physical responses, but that's usually associated with lust, not love. That's a matter of the heart. Many people can "feel" the presence of ghosts, as well. Even some scientists are beginning to understand the existence of ghosts by using machines and so on. Thank you for reading my response, thank you for making this discussion.

It was a mistake mentioning ghost in this discussion after all. Ghost are more like on the category of supernaturals and I'm talking about life out there. The same as us, with life. I don't know if science tried to prove the existence of love but I'm sure they've studied it. Since it's an emotion I think they studied people's behavior regarding it. What I mean by not being able to see is I know they're there and just can't see them cause they're far away. Well anyways, thanks to you too for reading and responding to this discussion.

You're right - it is almost impossible. After all, the universe is a huge huge place. Already, the earth seems big to us. Too big for us to discover in one lifetime - and in the course of the entire human race, we still have not yet discovered everything on Earth. Our oceans are teeming with undiscovered life, forests holding rare, miracle cures. If there is life out there - they might be just like us, wondering if there is other sentient life akin to themselves. It's quite a funny thought, isn't it? But if there aliens, it is highly possible that they aren't even as technologically advanced as us. If not, I think we might have heard from them by now.

Hehe. I don't know about their technology. But it sure is not enough for them to come far enough to reach us.

I do belive that there is life out there other than here on earth. I don't have proof, or need proof for that matter. Just try to imagine how big and wide the universe is. It's harder to believe that we are the only ones here in such a large space, almost seeming like infinity, than there are other life forms else where.

The universe is so HUGE I think it would be arrogant of us to NOT assume there is other life out there.

Well, we live in a universe bigger than all of our imaginations put together. We are smaller than a germ on a mountain. We're nothing. We're teeny. I can't imagine why no other place in the whole wide universe would not support life. Maybe they're waiting for us to invade them. Hopefully! But then again maybe we really do not want them to visit, they might not all be as friendly as ET.

Lol. Maybe. After all I've never seen a movie where aliens are involved and then we live happily together. In MIB aliens are only known to very few people and they have to disguise themselves as humans also just to get along.

well you'll never know until theres a true proof that there is, but I'm with you. It could be very true, and As they are researching more on Mars, They are finding more and more that leads to there once being life. You see Mars is our neighboring planet, in a universe that is 10000000000000000000^10000000000 bigger than us two planets. Now the odds of life other than life on earth are much bigger. There could be a planet in a different sector and galaxy with the same compound and form as earth and similar creatures. So yes its very plausible that there may be life other than life on earth. =)

I do too; I can't imagine this Infinite Universe with Only us! What a waste don't you think? How they look or do they even breath who knows but for sure most be someone out there. Once I saw an UFO, I don't know what it was, it could well had been an Aircraft on experiment from some government, that I haven't encounter yet. Or could have been a real UFO. One thing I can say at that moment I did not want an encounter of the third type. Happy lotting!

Of course there is life somewhere else on other planets orbiting other stars just the same as us. I cant even begin to explain all the ideas of different types of life I think there is. Just as an example I believe that on other planets there are intelligent beings based on completely different elements ie: sulfur based. I mean there are billions upon billions of stars out there... and thats just the one we can actually see!!!!! there are billions if not infinite more that we have no means of seeing unless we leave this planet. We can barely even see planets we only know other stars have planets from the wobbly planets cause on the star. If we cant even see the actual planet who knows how many life supporting planets could be orbiting the billions of stars we can actually see.... just thinking about all of this is mind blowing and I cannot see how someone could say earth is the only planet with life I mean come on..... It is IMPOSSIBLE for earth to be the only planet in the universe with life. just look at all the different types of life besides humans... Plants, animals, reptiles, birds, insects, etc. etc. theres even more of a chance theres basic life forms of microbes, bacteria, viruses... with so much life flourishing on just our little planet how could another planet not be able to do the same thing. I hope that everything in my response makes sense and that some people think the same way. great topic im glad i found this discussion right before I go off to bed.
