Who wants to see quidditch in the upcoming Harry Potter movies?

This great magical game of quidditch had previously appeared in the first three movies but subsequently it was dropped for movie four and movie five.
I really like the sport and would love to see Gryffindor smashing Slytherin to a defeat in the movies to come, It is such a great experience watching the games come alive in movies.
What do you say, do you want quidditch or not??

I love Harry Potter books and movies and wish they never end. I just got through reading Harry Potter the order of the Phoenix. Harry didn't get to play really in that book so maybe that is why it isn't in some of the movies..or they think it takes to much time to produce and alot of special effects and can be time consuming to do especially if they have to do it more then once. I like the game as well. I would like to see it in the next movie.

I also think it takes alot in the form of special effects when it comes to Quidditch and it really isn't required to be included in the movie. Thats why there wasn't even a single moment of quidditch in the fourth book as well. May be it IS hard to make.

I would think it would have been awesome. It would have showed the others how much pride they had in their school and their game and how good they were and it would of been good to try to have a game atleast a few between the different schools.

Actually, I think in the fourth book Quidditch was postponed for the year in order to do the tri-wizard tournament. though why they couldn't do both was unexplained - it would have been cool to see Krum in a quidditch match huh? Or how about a beuxbatons team. That could have been funny. Maybe they make all the other team member twitterpated so they can't play LOL.

Count me in. I would like to see any quidditch they cared to put in. I think it's a great game. I was so disappointed that we didn't even get to see a few moments of the World Cup in Movie 4. I mean, there the teams were coming out and bam, it's all over - not a single play. At least should have seen Krum get the snitch. I think they could have easily split the fourth movie into two, and why not, they would have got twice the money and we would have got twice the enjoyment.
I would really like to see Ron and Ginny join the team. I mean that's part of what Harry likes about her. And then there's the whole thing with the lucky potion and Ron. I guess it's not really the major plot, but it would make for some great scenes if they could get it in there without sacrificing the major plot line.
I also really really hope they leave in the part where Luna gets to commentate. That part made me laugh. Just imagining McGonagols face LOL.

Mrs. Umbridge was a pure tyrant I am so glad we don't have to deal with people like her..she was a mean one..

well of course you're probably right. Which is sad because Quidditch is really fun. If I remember right, Harry didn't get to play much quidditch in book 5 anyway cuz he was always in detention with Umbridge right. It would have been fun to see Ron though.

I think it takes a lot to make even a few shots in the movie of quidditch that is why they didn't want to waste resources on it when there were many important parts to deal with. Anyway a good answer

I wanted quidditch, especially in movie 5. I also wanted to see the Harry and Twins v. Malfoy fight, but alas, they cut that too. I think it's getting to the point that with all the crap happening, I'd rather cut out quidditch than an important part of the plot. I would have loved to see it in the fourth and fifth movie though and I think they could have fit it in.

But there wasn't much quidditch in the Ootp book, so why would they have added it to the movie?

Yeah I also regret that that scene of the fight between malfoy and the twins was cut from the movie. It would have been great.
