I know there's got to be others out here who are sick of all the mudslinging about Sarah Palin. I honestly don't want to hear anything any more, good NOR bad! This is like information overload. Everywhere I look, there is another crappy news spot about her, an update, a magazine cover ripping her to shreds. If this is 'society at its best' I shudder to think what WORST is! I almost feel sorry for her now.

No, I'm not. Ms. Palin will be one step away from the Presidency, so I want to know as much as I can about her. She came into the picture completely unknown by most of us, so it's only natural that there is a lot of information about her. There should be since the election is only weeks away. I love politics, so of course I want to know more about the candidates.

Well, people's reactions to it I'm tired of. But I've not had enough talk about Palin. I'm a politics and new junkie, so of course any little tidbit about her is like bread and butter to me. Not that I'll actually go on to talk about most of it, 'cause most of it frankly doesn't really matter...but I keep listening, watching, reading...for some little gem of something that actually matters. It's like a treasure hunt for me. I don't even really like Palin, and I'm not fond of smear campaigns and all...but I really do like examining things when they're like this because I find them to be very educating. Mudslinging doesn't usually upset me because it's something I expect from politics. Though, I have to agree on you with one thing; "If this is 'society at its best' I shudder to think what WORST is!"

I don't think that's gonna stop anytime soon, unfortunately. She's new to federal politics, and the lack of knowledge about her will keep fueling everyone's curiousity, at least until the election (or after, if her side wins). I think the opposite camp and some in the media have been unfair in their depictions of her, though. (And I for one am feeling sorry for her. Don't think she deserves these). Keep your cool. Of the campaigns, just take the meat and discard the bones.

Good day... All in the game I guess, the nomination, the campaign and finally the election. I guess this kind of things aren't pandemic in 3rd world but in super powers as well. I just hope that there is still good coming out of it in the end.

i think all the attention is a bit much as well. i think they are so focus on her because of her very strong views, having a daughter who is pregnant, and just her being a woman. i think because she was someone we never heard of, people want to know more about her. so of course they are not going to dig around for the good stuff. but just the mistakes that she made. she is human is she be able to make mistakes without people blowing them

i'm tired of all of them & the upcoming election. i like her better than any of the four candidates. i think she is to admired, i like the way she talks & handles herself. i did think it was a bad time for to be in the spotlight so much since her daughter is pg, i felt sorry for the daughter but they have about quit talking about that, thank heavens. have a good one. greetings from tennessee.

I agree. I can't turn on the television, listen to the radio, or even check my e-mail with Palin popping up somewhere. What's worse, I go somewhere and everyone is talking about Palin. Even here on MyLot, it's Palin this, Palin that. I really can't wait for election to be over with.
