I usually respond to most discussions but there are a couple of topics i usually stay away from, for example politics and religion of curse there were a few times when i made an exception, but anyway the reason why i rarely ever respond to those kind of topics is because we all have strong opinion's about those subjects and sometimes our emotions get carried away when we talk about subjects like that, and there very personal topics and everything is so final here after you click the post button, so anyway is there any topics that you tend to stay away from though from the looks of some of the of responses someone got for a post about religion i think most of you respond to most all of the discussion's here.

I usually do not indulge in the discussions on the politics. Though I am not against the responding to the discussions relating to religion and pertaining to existence of God. When some people post discussions regarding nonexistent of God I feel ill and I have to respond in detail to make them think against about the existence of god.

Well apples, that is my two discussions also. I don't touch politics.
Or religion.
I have enough debate at home.

I'd have to say that I don't respond to more discussions than those I do respond to :) It's just impossible to respond to all here. I do shy away from some discussions, especially those that just don't seem real.

I don't give respond to discussion that i had no idea and no faith in discussing, if you had discuss and give the wrong views and ways to solve a problem. Big problems will emerge and i will be in trouble.

I tend to stay away from topics, that I don't know much about or that I'm uninterested in. Politics being one of them. For one many Politic questions I see here are states side. I live in Canada, therefore I do not have the right to make any judgement on that topic. Besides, even if the politic topic was on canada chances are I would not respond either, because politics bores me.
I know some like it and there is nothing wrong with that, but I'm just the type of person I really don't care that much about Politics.

I will pretty much respond to any discussion that catches my interest - providing I think that I can offer something of use to the discussion - regardless of topic. Actually politics seems to be one of my favorite topics. LOL! Though I usually try not to offend anyone too badly.

I normally stay away from discussions that are sensitive such as religions, politics and gender related ones because these kinds of discussions tend to get very emotional. When things become emotional, people will respond to the discussion without giving much thought into it. The result is usually flaming responses which is a cause for mylot to delete that discussion. What then is the point of discussing it when it gets deleted? I doubt that the discussion would even reach a conclusion before it is deleted.
Besides that, we get fined when discussion we started or respond to gets deleted. Our earnings are deducted and some people would complain about it. This will eventually lead to even more disatisfaction. Why then should I participate in a never ending circle of dissatisfaction causing discussion?
Other than that, I also tend to stay away from discussions that could potentially be deleted such as those about money making programs because there is a high tendency for people to post their referal links there

I'm with you - generally I stay away from politics and religion because those are such touchy subjects and to me something so personal I like to only share with friends and when I am in an environment where you are talking and being able to read body language not typed language. I guess I just read over the topics and if something is funny, or I think I can contribute, I do. I'm not going to respond to anyone asking me how to make money off the internet, or giving me another site to go to in order to make money. I just do this for fun, the extra few bucks is a bonus.

I dont like responding to topics which i am not interested in. I like good topics which donot question anyone's integrity. Different people post different questions and discussions here, there is no hard and fast rule that we have to respond to every discussion or every question here, and it is hard to describe or respond to a topic which is not of our interest too, we won't get words for such topics. Hence, it is better to stay away rather then posting something which later looks very shabby for us ourselves.
