I know you may not like it but bananas are really fattening. You must be knowing that people with diabetes and heart problem are advised not to eat bananas due to the sugar content and the fat. But bananas have many benefits too. Bananas contain folic acid, vitamins etc. But I will suggest you that you should limit your intake of banana. Do not stop eating banana but one banana a day wont cause you much harm, if you are healthy and have no diabetic problems. But 6 to 7 bananas may be really too much, don't you think. Instead you can try eating apple. Apple is non fattening and is good for diabetic patients too. Give it a try and see.

just a moment diabetic patients now are advised to eat bananas in modest amounts as they are v ery healthy, just count carbs and balance all your meal. they do not stop us from eating most things just tell us to eat in modest portions as for fat, there is no fat in a banana, it is a fruit, pure carbs do not believe all the wild internet reports without snopesing them. Iam a diabetic and have a nutritionist who is up to date on food.

They are high in calories but they are still a healthy whole food with lots of nutrients. If you have a weight problem then increased exercise (walking and biking whenever you can, etc) and eliminating any unhealthy over processed/junk food, white flour, processed sugars (white sugar or corn syrup), hydrogenated fats, deep-fried foods, etc.... The more whole grains/whole fresh foods you eat and the more water you drink, the better.

Bananas are good for you they have about 90 calories in a medium size banana they are more fatteingin then other fruits I don't think 7 bananas at a time would be very good for you though. They do carry many beneifts like having potassium in them.

mercuryan while bananas are really healthy for you , you should also eat a varity of other fruits and veggies with some lean protein plus low fat dairy and some whole grain cereals and breads, just eat everything in moderation. a couple of bananas a day is fine, 7 0r 8 is overdoing it as you do need other foods as well.

fat food ,no kidding.banana is good for our health .but i think it is no good for you when you just eat banana when you are empty.as the time gone by ,it will cause stomach-ache.for banana is too eazy to digest, and it cause acid stomach. so i think it is better for you eat banana after meal.
