Summer is my favorite season because I enjoy hot weather. It makes me feel really happy and energetic. I am fairly happy in spring if the weather is warm but autumn shows that the cold winter is nearly here. I love traveling and I have visited tropical locations where the local people seemed happy in their hot climate.
Do you feel happy in hot weather?
Which is your favorite sort of weather in your home country?
Were you happy if you traveled to a warm destination?

An Australian friend that lives in the tropical region of Australia came to the UK in June, a summer month and he remarked that the weather was cold. I guess that some people get used to the heat and humidity but others don't. Some parts of India sound like Darwin a place that it only takes a few seconds to begin sweating again.

I try and find something to enjoy about all seasonal weather. I like watching my daughter build snowmen in winter. In hot weather we get out the hoses and wash the cars it is fun. Spring where the temp runs a bit mild is nicest for me.

You are very content and grateful for your seasons. One person in Victoria in Australia said "we have seven seasons here a day". Another person remarked " I only know four seasons, so perhaps I am missing something". The original person meant that the weather was changeable and that is not my favorite sort of weather. I am glad that you and your family enjoy all the seasons.

I think being in warm weather would make you enjoy your life more as you could get outstide in the fresh air and that seems to lift peoples moods. Right now it is really windy here in Nebraska and about 67 degrees it is not really cold but that windy can put a damper on your spirits. I would love to travel to Hawaii were it is nice and warm. If we ever win the lottery we are going to move there.

I think that warm sunny weather definately makes for a happier place. Sunshine gives us that happy vibe and without it people become really miserable. There is nothing to look forward too. I live in UK and for the past two years our summers have been virtually non existent and I feel it, I feel quite down because there is never anything to look forward too. It has finally got to us so much that we have just booked our holiday for next year and we are going abroad in hope of getting some better weather.

I always look forward to summer but this year I blinked and missed it. I saw a newspaper article that said the the weather in the UK hasn't be as gloomy in the last one hundred and fifty years. I think that May can turn out more sunny than August in the UK these days so that is strange. I know that you have been sensible in booking your holiday and I am sure it will be sunny as well as hot or warm there. I am trying to decide where to go next year. If I go to Canada in May then the UK gets another cool summer I will be cross with myself. Perhaps I should book a holiday to a tropical location.

I have to say I love the Fall, the changing colors of the leaves, the cool brisk mornings. I love a great sunny Fall day, just cool enough for jeans and a sweater. I know that it means Winter is not far away, and I love the first snowfall. It also means the coming of the holiday season. I like the Spring and Summer, but Fall is my favorite, it's energizing to me.

Oh yes, I like the warm weather much better than the cold and that makes me a much
happier person to be around. I love the summers here in Calgary because it doesn't
get too hot or humid either, just nice. I like it when the weather is around +25C but
any hotter I have to be by the water.
I used to live in Winnipeg and there the summers are way too hot and muggy. There at
+25 it feels like +40 because of the himidity.
The winters here in Calgary aren't too bad either. We get chinooks so the weather can
and does, change from being -20 to +20 in just one day so we get a lot of breaks from
the cold weather. I love it.
In the summer I have a lot more energy and I am sure it is because of the weather. In
the summer I go for a lot more walks, that's for sure.
Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend,
Have a good mylotting day, Chris

I love spring because the air is perfumed, the days get longer and you can feel summer coming. Summer is wonderful, with long, hot days and huge evening thunderstorms. However, by the time summer is over, I am ready for come cooler weather. Autumn means crisp, clear mornings which are the best way to start a day. Winter is snuggling under a warm doona at night, and long walks without getting too hot. I guess I'm pretty happy no matter what the season.

I would rather be in a cool to colder climate with a chill in the air. I am not too happy being in hot weather. It slows me down and I don't feel energetic especially in the humidity.
The autumn and the spring seem to be the two seasons that give me an extra lift. I guess everyone has their own opinion when it comes to this question.

I like winters, in summers , as my skin is oily it sprouts with acnes and is real hard to maintain.I love myself in winters as I come out all glowing and even look fair. Plus I love curling up under the quilt with a steaming hot cuppa of coffee and my favorite book. I love winters.

I definitely enjoy life more in warm weather because my arthritis bothers me more in the cold, but even dampness can be a problem, so I need warm and dry.

Hello maximax8.
I moved to FL 5 years ago. My husband just hated the cold and snow up north. However, I never minded the seasons and in fact, found them to be interesting because it sort of changed life a little and I got to wear different clothes from season to season.
Anyhoo, I have found that I don't like being in hot weather all the time. I want some relief from it sometimes. Plus, running the air conditioning 10 months out of the year (maybe more) gets to be old. I, too, used to think vacations to FL and other tropical locations were great fun, I think it was the novelty of those places.
Although I do like many things about living in FL, do not underestimate the ramifications of living in weather that is often too hot to do anything out of doors. In our winter, we can take walks outside for a month or 2. Even early mornings (before 6 a.m.) during other times of the year are either too hot or humid or both to walk. Evenings are the same, plus the mosquitoes. Now, we do have a swimming pool just about 3 steps outside our back door, and I love that. We swim about 9 months out of the year.
One real plus is we never have snow or icy weather to contend with. We can easily step outside our door year round. We don't have to worry anymore about slipping, falling down, whiteouts, or having a snow-related car accident.

I agree. Warm, sunny weather always makes me feel better. I'm more relaxed and happy. I even noticed that if I have a cold, or even a headache laying in the sun with my eyes closed just seems to take the aches and pains away. In the winter time, when I'm outside in the cold, I can just feel my muscles tensing up all the time. When you're cold you tend to scrunch your shoulders up and that just throws everything out of wack. Give me the warm weather (with the sun) anytime.

I think that warmer weather makes my bones ache a lot less. LOL.
Winter is awful, I wish that I lived somewhere where the weather is always perfect. But for now I have to deal with Ohio Winters...
