hows life been lately

I have been down and depressed to lately, but I am on a mission to up lift my spirits, jobs here to are almost impossible to find, we have had a lot of plant closing and company lay offs, I am working but it is 20 miles away from home with the price of gas it is hard to commute sometimes, thank God I have a small car. I am in the area where they are building this large Kia Plant. I am not looking for a job with Kia, I am working toward my retirement. jhl hi my life lately really is very bad, I live with my son who is our only breadwinner, and he lost his job a month ago and has not yet found another one. rent overdue, 3 day notice, just finally got lights and gas paid, telephone yet to pay. no life is real bad there in Southern Ca right now as jobs are hard to find and r ents are outrageous. i am handicapped and retired,82, so only have a small social security check, which wouldnt pay the rent so am just hoping now. so we all have our big problems.

I have to say, life has been rolling quite well for me. I feel the best I have in many years. I have never been able to really talk to people or make friends, and now I am working on overcoming my shyness. Things are looking up. I told myself I would be happy this school year and so far I think I am. Sometimes you have to just take a breath and step back, and look at wha t you need to change in your life. You really can do it if you just give yourself a little kick in the butt! Hope things turn up for you soon. Happy MyLotting!

Not good for me. I got sick for staying up late. And have tons of things to do. Like projects in school, exams, etc. not to mention being broke. Lol. Still hanging in there though. It's not like it'll always be like this.

It's not that good in terms of love life, a lot of things happened that I cannot change anymore...

life has been great for me lately... i have no complain at all... i try to be grateful for what i have everyday and say thank you to God for His blessings every single day... i wouldn't ask for something more or complain to Him as i know that He always give the best for His beloved children... and i'm sure that He will provide me with what i need everyday 100% all my life... take care and have a nice day...

Last few days have been INSANE. Here in Ohio we got the last of Ike, strangely enough. It came in winds that broke trees, it was amazing. Then our youngest cat, barely not a kitten anymore, escaped while I slept...and my younger brother noticed but didn't bother to tell anyone til hours later...and we ended up searching the city all day, only to come home tired and she later came home on her own spooked and fluffed up like a halloween cat. Plus, my Mom's upset with, well everything...last two days, as a blogger who tries to cover the news and issues that matter...I've been covering what's going on with the gas prices (which're the way they are because of Ike and probably has people's panic buying of gas contributing to that...plus the shortages) -- which is worrying the crap out of me, because I've heard this scenario before and it's so eerie and everything about it spells bad news. *sighs* I haven't been sleeping as much as I should and I'm behind on stuff I should be doing. On top of that, worrying about moving soon to a more stable life and what that means. Not...bad exactly, I guess. I've seen bad, and this just gets close, it doesn't cross the line. Just crazy.

For some time things have been getting slowly, very slowly, better. I don't know how long this will last but so it has been. This monthend I have to pay the bank a double loan payment, about half my salary because I paid nothing last month. The extra work I got this month might not repeat itself next month, thats for sure, so how I will make out is up for the birds as far as I am concerned. This is the life. No doubt about it.

I understand where you are coming from. Times are tough and the fact that the price of gas is sky rocketing, let alone causing an increase of unemployment and then wondering how you are going to make it through it all. Though I do work against my own better judgment while I have to deal with a sarcastic, egotistical, selfish old coot for a boss, I do walk to work when I do have to work, there fore the gas does not affect me. I am dealing with being able to quit my job and financially support myself with my Home Based Business and make money on a business I do part time from home. This second business could allow me to do so but, yet it is not recommended for that purpose. Also having to deal with getting the money to pay for a Divorce, having a grown child living under the roof and a grandchild you adore that does not allow you to sleep after working a full night. It would honestly be nice to have my place to myself and be able to move about my house naked if I wanted too. If life was ever so easy, I would patent it!

Well... it could've been better I've had to take a total of 8 weeks off work due to two operations since June (so am down to half pay) and this week took a downward turn when the consultant advised me to have more extensive surgery... I have to weigh up the alternatives and decide. However, in amongst that, my elder son came to visit us for a few days and I was able to visit my younger son (who lives closer) a couple of times. So, the fact that I am lucky enough to be their mum makes life pretty good really hope you have a great week!

lol. life, i believe lifes a long road with ups and downs, bumpy ways and smooth ways. for me life these few months was the most horrific time ihave ever spent. well to start off with iam an architecture student. students of architecture normally study in groups for exams. in some subjects i helped out my friends in their working drawings and some other sheets. i taught them the basics and even after giving the jury exam exceptionally good, the professor failed me! to top with that the other theory subjects, which we had which professor normally tell me to explain to other students in class, i got a backlog in that. over that when results came out, my back was paining, so i had been to a doctor with my father, where he detected that i had not 1 but multiple slipdisc.! jeez! m lucky 2 b atleast alive.! haah, phew felt much lighter after sayin it all out 2 some1. thanks jhl930 for this topic.

for me, it didnt gooo will that much, broke up with my boyfriend, always run out from money cause i quit my job. Far from my family and having a bad weather here in our place.
