Graveyard shift

I have long been working with the schedule not usual to most employees. I have worked on the operations side of a government agency. We do not have holidays, only 2 days off per week. but I have come to enjoy it. Mostly on grave yard shifts or from dawn to noon. Being on such schedule makes me do some more chores at home or do some errands and all. Mylotting of course.
Although there are some disadvantages working on graveyard, one of which sleep deprivation, I still enjoy being on graveyard shifts. You don't have to hussle with the busy street especially during rush hours with all the traffic jams.
The only problem really is the sleep deprivation. I sleep like 3-4 hours per day. I know it's unhealthy but have come to love it. I just have to sleep the whole day during my day off.
I guess its not my place in the nine to five world. Anybody here like me? What do you say?

Well I don't work the graveyard shift, but I probably could. I am not a morning person unless I just happen to still be up at that time! I do work from 2pm to 11pm most days though and I like that. When I get home I usually don't get to sleep until 3am or so. Plus if I need to run errands durning the day I can adjust my sleeping and get up before work to do them while everyone else is at work. No lines and no traffic. I love it.

I work in the medical field and we do have different shifts to follow. We also have that graveyard shift which starts from 11pm to 7am. I like it because on graveyard shift, time flies very fast. You will never notice the time and next thing you know is that it is already 7am. The downside of it is that sometimes I get so sleepy and my energy level is low. Also, you spend your day sleeping so you cannot do much of your day but to rest and sleep. Happy mylotting.
