Time management are you good at it?

I used to have terrible time management, but work committments have meant I have had to sort it out and now it is quite good. At the nursery I work in, it's not so good, but then there are so many unexpected distractions there, I constantly have staff, children and parents that need speaking to or problems dealing with. It is especially hard if I am in the middle of important paperwork. I used to try to aim to get things done by the end of the day there, but now I only time limit anything that is very important or urgent for that day. Otherwise I have a list to be done by the end of each week, and work when quieter. At home I have quite good skills too, and manage to get most, if not all I want to do, done in a day and at the right time. I have learned the hard way though. I used to take on too much and wonder why nothing ever got done, but now I am sensible and limit each day to a couple of important tasks, or even one if a very big one. This way I can do more if the time allows, but it also means I am finishing things on time which is good.

I think I can handle my time pretty well. Just setting time limits to creating a daily schedule can help manage your time significantly. Allotting yourself specific time to relax as rewards prevent yourself from burning out from too much work.
