Mom - don't sing

Lol. Don't worry dawnald! Not everyone has a voice like Aretha Franklin, or Madonna,etc. I'm sure my voice has made a couple of my neighbors ears bleed! The only one that likes my voice is my 18 month old daughter, it calms her at night and she falls asleep to it....unless she's falling asleep so that she doesn't have to hear it anymore! Well at least it has a purpose!

Tell them they can either let you sing when you like without complaining, or you will be sure to sing whenever they have friends round...lol.

lol i feel your pain. i love to sing along with the radio all the time. I used to think i was ok, not good enough to sing in front of people, but ok. then i got a little older and really listened to myself lol. my kids will tell me not to sing every once in awhile. i just tell them to hush. i like to sing whether i sound good or not.

hi dawnald oh wow thats really bad when your kids wont let you sing. he he he. but then they say a prophet is without honor in his own land.I got in on choir but not solo oh no my teacher just threw up her hands. So I got the message really clear. lol lol lol. my son says I shouldnt be let near a drawing tablet so there went my drawing career. but they all admire poems I have written and short stories so guess I do do something right.

maybe if i'm your kid i will do the same... lol

Dawn, when my two tell me not to sing along with something, I just ask them if they have heard the noise coming from their mouths lately. I continue to sing, and they just shake their heads and walk away. If they tell me not to sing when we are in the car, I tell them they have 2 choices, I can sing, or I can turn the radio up loud enough for everybody to hear it and headbang. Guess one wins out?*LOL*
