Condom hair bands - dangerous - This is a cut open hair band that has material wrapped around old condoms.

Unbelievable!I also looked on Snopes and typed in hairbands and it did come out stating it was a true story. I would never have thought of that.. GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/hairband.asp Please pay attention to what you and your daughters, grand daughters, sisters, nieces, etc. Are using in their hair. If in doubt. . . Throw them out and buy new products! Pay a little more to save a loved one's health/life. DANGEROUS Hair Bands for our Daughters!!!! Be cautious of hair bands at open markets around the city too – they are probably from China since they are purchased in bulk very very cheap!!!!

Oh.. my god. I'm glad I haven't been using any colorful ones like that. I wonder where they're getting used ones, if this really is the case! Do they just find them in people's cars and break into them or something?
