Hi mylotters!! Are you looking forward to the premier of one of your favorite shows more than other new or returning shows this new season? If so, what show is it and why are you looking forward to the premier more than other shows?
For me the premier that I'm looking forward to most is Grey's Anatomy followed by Desperate Housewives and Private Practice. I'm just ready to get back into my weekly TV addictions. After all these reruns, I'm ready for a little r&r! What about you?

Awesome. I can't wait to get cable back after we move. Right now we are here and there and not in any one place long enough to watch much TV. I had to cut the Netflix subscription down too! Had movies just sitting around waiting to be watched for weeks. Glad there is no late fee with them!!

I can't wait for Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice and Brothers & Sisters!
I didn't watch Desperate Housewives last season (I thought it was starting to get a little campy) butI heard about the season finale and may tune in this season to see how they fast forward 5 years. Should be interesting!

This fast forwarding thing is going to be weird--at least at first anyway. I'm sure we will all adjust and enjoy the show as much as ever. Can't wait to see Eddy's new husband!!! And Susan's new one for that matter. I'm also looking forward to seeing Gabby in the new mother role. That will be a different kind of role for her for sure.

I'm embarrassed to say that there are so many shows I'm looking forward to watching. I used to read about 4 books a week, but since getting cable and a dvr, my reading has gone down significantly. That being said, here are my favorites, not necessarily in any order:
House - I saw a preview of the 5th season, and I like that the three original team members are going to be incorporated more into the plot so that both the old and new characters will be active.
CSI - all the franchises.
Criminal Minds
ER - Though the plots and individual character issues have been recycled, I do want to see the last season.
Law & Order - all the franchises. I am curious to see how Jeff Goldblum does as Chris Noth's replacement on Criminal Intent. Wonder if Logan's partner will also be returning this season.
I am also looking forward to seeing the new shows The Mentalist, and also Christian Slater's new show.

You sound like me. I used to never watch TV and as a compromise of being on the computer too much, I started watching a few shows that became regulars. Now I'm not on the computer all the time at home and some of my assignments are behind, as well as other freelance things I *should* be doing.

My shows had actually started before the regular Premiere time. I watch Gossip Girl and that started a few weeks ago. I love that show! I have a lot on my DVR this year:
Dancing with the Stars, Amazing Race, The Hills, The Office, Biggest Loser, Desperate Housewives, and more I cant think of
I don't keep track of when things are on anymore, I just add them all to my DVR. Unfortunately there were a few new shows I wanted to watch that conflict with things I've already DVRed. I take that as a sign that I don't have time for the new shows!

Those premieres sure are coming up! I have to say I didn't watch Grey's Anatomy all these years except for the ferry boat episode. However, I caught last year's season finale, and I'm very tempted to tune in for the season premiere. I also want to see what happens on House. Amber dying is going to cause a load of tension, and that is putting it midly!

Hi Karen,
I really enjoy all of the ones you've mentioned, especially Grey's and Private Practice. Dancing With The Stars will be starting soon, and I love that show. I'm also a big fan of Lost, and hate the fact that they're making us wait so long now, for each new season. I don't like it either, that they've really cut down on the number of new episodes.

I wish they could extend the season again, but apparently they don't have the large volume of viewers they once had.

One of my favorite shows is Numb3rs. I like it not only for the interesting cases and how Charlie helps solve them, but for the characters themselves. Their personal lives and relationships. I don't like Don's new love interest though. I think it's her bangs. I know, shallow, but they bug the heck out of me. they look like a 5 year olds.

Yeah, its kinda sad because one of my favorite nights of TV is Fridays. We like Monk and Phsych (whose season's are ending), and Numb3rs. So what I miss in the regular season, I usually catch in the reruns. We usually end up going out Saturday night. No good TV that night LOL.
Let me know what you think of the bangs. They are so unattractive in my opinion.
