So finally friend you are going to Saudi! Do take care. I supposed you already attended the pre-departure orientation seminar and I advice you to always remember all the things you learned there. Don't forget to bring some over the counter medicines for fever, LBM, headache and the likes. You wrap it inside your socks because sometimes they throw it away when they see them at the Immigration. Also your jacket.
I wish you all the best my friend. Again, take care!

In addition to what has already been listed, I bring, well, those things you have on hand when "Aunt Flo" comes to visit - you need them about once a month. Just in case you know.

If possible I take multiple pairs of shoes. My i-pod, my cell phone, toiletries as well. Also, plastic bags to place my dirty clothes in. Extra sets of clothes in case of a delay of getting back home, you never know. Also, a small throw blanket too because that can really come in handy!

Actually, the airlines have stopped permitting items such as toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and other liquids on the airplane. My husband travels frequently and he relies on his hotel to provide all of these items. Also, don't pack too much stuff. Many airlines are requiring people to pay for all checked baggage, even just the first one, which used to be included in the ticket price. I think this is scandalous. If you have a lot of things to take with you, you may want to ship them. Have you ever been to Saudi Arabia before? I read a book about it and there are a lot of laws restricting women. Also, if you have not been there before, read up about it before you go. I hope you will be safe.

I try to pack just the basics and fit them into the smallest bag possible. I go to the store to buy the trial sized shampoo, toothpaste, hairspray, mousse, then of course my makeup, brush, hairdryer, a couple sets of clothes rolled tight. I guess I just like to travel light.

you've pretty much everything..
From my experiences, I usually try to travel light, depending on purpose, clothes shouldn't be an issue as you are bound to buy 1 or 2, besides, laundry services are everywhere.

#MONEY, with money, u can buy almost everything..
#Passport!, if you still wanna come home,
#Daily neccesities(clothes, tolietries...)
#Camera..
#Journal..
#FirstAid kit?..
#Photos of your loved ones...( if you are those that will miss them so much.. )
#Street directory!.. maybe
#If you are going on a trip/holiday short term, its best to plan your trip beforehand, where you would be going, things you are keen on buying..
#If on a long term trip, its best to bring as little stuff as possible, unless u already have a place to settle down, the stuffs will be a burden..
\Lastly ! Enjoy !

Of course all the neccesary stuff like toiletries, extra clothes I will bring. Apart from the normal travelling stuff, I will bring a torchlight along as well, a foldable umbrella, my swiss army knofe, storybook depending on how many days - if it is a long trip I will bring like 2 to 3 books),my vitamin supplemetns all packed into a smaller bottles to last just enough for the trip, if there is space allowance (for example if I am travelling in my own car) then I will bring my comfy soft soft pillow as well!!

Hi there. I'll definitely bring clothes and money. Those two are a must aside from my passport of course. My cellphone is not that important as long as I travel with my parents or friends. I can easily borrow theirs anyway. And I don't think I'll need to take any calls that are important unless I'm on a business trip. A camera would be a great addition. I love taking pictures of places, people, and food! But I think clothes and money are my number one priorities.

packing really needs time and i shall pack all my day to day basic things like clothes, shoes, cosmetics, brush, toothpaste, soap, perfumes and some eatables.
and i always carry a few of my personal items and i dont prefer the items provided by hotel like the towels, a glass, if i am carrying some food even a plate is required.
the most important your passport and your tickets and some of the legal documents like the confirmation of the hotel reservation and so on.
if its a trip i am going to i also carry a few details of the attractions of the place so that i can have some idea about the place.
and i have a son and i had to carry his food too and his required things and some toys.
thats the details i can give you good luck and happy journey.
