Last year I tried to do an A to Z author challenge. Q was a killer, but I got all the other letters. This year I am doing both Authors A to Z and Titles A to Z. Don't know yet if I'm going to make it or not. I love setting up challenges for myself even if I don't end up finishing them. It lets me explore new authors that I may have never tried.

Hi, it sounds like a great challenge - I will never be able to do it. I already have a number of favourite authors, and many of their books still unread on my shelves. Chances are, I always end up going back to the familiar authors or books!

That's how my husband is. He has his few favorite authors and that's pretty much all he reads. Since I like so many different genres though, I don't discriminate. I'm willing to give most any author a whirl if their books grab me.

wow. that's a nice challenge to one's self. =) you remind me of my sister. on her end, she makes it a point that she reads everyday. she wants to finish two to three books in a week. she's a fast reader, but is easily distracted. well, for me, when i read, i get 2 to 3 books and read in portions. after i read several chapters, i go to the next book. at the end of the year, update us if you're able to read books with authors from A to Z. =)

I can't read that fast. It takes me about a week to read a book. Sometimes I can get 2 read a week. Then again, right now I'm only reading on my hour long lunch breaks at work. When a book really grabs me though, I'll stay up all night and read it to see how it's going to turn out. lol
