me and my new camera go to the Zoo.

wowww nice.but i am still dreaming to visit zoo this year with my little girl.

I went to the zoo for the first time in my life last summer. We went down south to visit our daughter and her family. While we were there we took the grand-kids to the zoo. It was amazing. I loved seeing all the animals that I had never seen before.

I did not get an email for this discussion. I thought we were also friends on each opthers lists. I went to add a comment to the photo and thats when I found out we weren't friends. Am I wrong thinking we were friends at one time? Anyhow, great shot and glad you had fun at the zoo with your camera. I love the zoo myself and went this summer. Are animals kept in natural enclosures? That's nice, because I hate seeing animals cooped up in cages. I loved visiting the Mysore zoo, but some animals are kept in cages there, which is very sad. Cheers and happy mylotting

Oh I love the zoo!!! I think it is one of the best places to go when there is not a cloud in the sky and the sun is shining brightly, you can feel the heat of the sun warming your skin and with that wonderful camera of yours, I am sure you will have a wonderful time!!!! Singapore zoo is one of the best in the world, and it is a really great place to bring my family for an outing… I LOVE the zoo!!!

that sounds really fun lilaclady... i had stayed in melbourne for over 4 years now and guess what... i haven't been to the zoo yet!!! not even once... incredible, right??? i think i just have to 'force' my hubby to bring me there... i also love to see the cute animals there... and of course like you say... the excitement face on the children's faces really add on to the fun... take care and have a nice day...

Yes It has been a very nice day here today in Melbourne but I had to go to work but the minute I got home I put the leads on my 2 Pug's and took them for a walk before the sun went down, and yes I also love going to the Zoo but haven't been there for years now and have been saying that we are going to go soon but it just hasn't happened yet! Just like we are going to visit the Werribee Zoo soon too which is only a 10 minute drive from home but we never seem to get there either sad isn't it .....

You are right. A trip to the zoo is great most especially with the kids. So make sure you charge your camera well. It would be very important to take pictures of those precious and enjoyable moments. Best to you!

Hi there lilaclady well..I don't know..I don't actually like zoo's. Wild Animals are not meant to be penned up in a cage.They are meant to roam free in the lands in which they came from.oooh..I have mixed feelings but where else can you show exotic animals to little kids? but,I have respect for wild animals,they meant to be free and I don't think they like to live behind bars

ooooooooh, i love the zoo. as a matter of fact i visited a petting zoo when i was in adelaide last year. dang near got accosted by the kangaroos when they realized i had a bag of peanuts with me, lol have a great day

Hi lilaclady, I am glad you had a lovely day at the zoo with your camera, I expect Australia is having a beautiful summer, as for us it a dreary old autumn day but not so cold it is quite nine really, I haven not been to the zoo since I was a child and the nearest zoo is many miles away, you just have a nice time. The last time I went to the zoo was more than a decade ago and digital cameras weren't the in thing then. I did have a great time at zoo that time. It was the first time I saw a very large snake and it sure scared the hell out of me. LOL. Too bad we weren't able to take pictures that time so I don't have remembrance with me. The next time I visit a zoo I'll surely bring with me my camera. ;D

The zoo is the perfect place to go for taking pictures. It's like going to Africa or India but you don't have to actually go there to see the animals. I guess the animals aren't really thrilled about it, but it's a good opportunity!

I love animals very much and I can imagine that it must be a jolly atmosphere with all the enthusiastic kids coming there. However, unfortunately there is no zoo in my city. India really lacks in planning related to keeping good presence of nature in the cities.

Hello lilaclady, It is hot and sunny too here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Oh, yes! Talking about zoo... you make me wonder and thinking when was the last time I visited a zoo here. I plan to bring my 2 year old son to the zoo as he never been there so far. I think he will definitely enjoy it as he loves to see those cute animals like panda and penguin.

Hi,dear friend, i have to say you are so lucky to live near the zoo,Actaully,I am a kind of person girl who likes animails really so much .but due to some limitions ,I don't have the chance to see them on such a good day for I live quite a long way from the zoo,every time when I want to see the little animals and the big animals I have to ride on a train...In a beautiful day we can enjoy more no matter where we go..haha..have a nice day...;-)

Hi Lila, I do love the Zoo but I normally have to wait to November to go because of the crazy hear here! Can you imagine 115 degrees and animal pop everywhere! Yuck, also our zoo is not that nice, I have been to others that were much a better!
