Are you in a long distance relationship?

I have a crush on a boy.he is so amazing that i have never met anyone else as tolerative,gentle,smart and lovely as him.we do have chemistry with each other and i am pretty sure he is the one.while,long distance is a big trouble.he lives in SINGAPORE but i am in CHINA.I miss him everyday and have a strong desire to see him. Do you have a long distance relationship?And do you agree that absence makes hearts grow fonder or distance ruins love?please share your thought and story.

I have to say that "evrthing has its good and bad effect no matterw aht we do"so as the love relationships ,Long distance may give us some kind of feelings which is different from the everyday love relationships ,we can treasure more when we are with each other ,and the relations can also be tightened ....

Long distance relationships are VERY difficult. i know first hand. Honestly, i dont think you should try to make it work unless you are truly deeply in love and this person is someone you might consider spending the rest of youtr life with. if the love is not THAT strong, the relaionship is doomed. And if there is no trust in the relationship, it will most defintely not work. now, on the other hand, if the LOVE is there and it is strong, a LD relationship is completely possible. My boyfriend and soon to be fiance is in the Navy and i dont get to see him often. right now he is on a boat in the middle of the ocean somewhere. Thankfully, the trust we have for eachother is incredible and I have never loved anyone more in my whole life. he's truly my soulmate... and so as much as it is NOT FUN being long distance, i do it because i know i want to spend the rest of my life with him.

when you asked that question did you mean whether the relationship was among two people who are away from each other over a long distance or did you mean whether there has been a long standing relationship... anyway its always hard the first time it happens... but don't worry.. you will get used to it...;)

Ah I used to be in a long distance relationship, me in the UK while the girl was in Sweden. It didn't really feel a whole relationship I guess, and we just drifted apart and don't really talk to eachother at all nowadays. I doubt any long distance relationship works well as you always just drift away eventually unless you meet up some time.
