How Many Times Do You Bath Your Baby In A Day?

In our culture, we bathe the baby every day...except when the baby is ill. I don't know if it is okay....maybe if it is...if that's how it is followed in your place. I'm basically from a very hot place and the baby needs a bath (an oil bath) every day to keep them cool and comfortable....while the place I now live in tends to get cold few months of the year and the baby is not bathed every day (though I do it every day due to habit).

Hi! when my kids where just months old, i do bath them everyday..with lukewarm water..i came from a different part of the world (from the philippines) and well, we do give our baby baths everyday except for tuesday (it is some kind of tradition but i dont really follow coz i dont see the point in it) But i do bath them everyday. The weather here is always hot so i have to give them baths.. :))

My son is 3 years old and my little girl is 10 months. I bathe them every day. However when they were little, my doctor told me every couple of days was just fine, considering they didn't do much except eat, sleep and...well you know. If your baby does get a little messy from drinking her/his bottle, you can always wipe the baby down with a baby wipe.

I always bathed my babies everyday. Even now my children shower everyday. I know some people that bathe their babies every other day. We live where it is hot so everyday is kind of a must.

I take my baby to bath once a day, after he go to sleep to make him feel fresh coz he don't need bath twice a day coz it's a cold country and he never get sweating and smelly. I advice that if you come from warm country or tropical country you need to take you baby into bath twice or once a day depends to make him smell nice and fresh. When you are living in the cold country give him a nice warm bath before bedtime. Helps him sleep well. Happy posting.

i bathe my kids every other day as well. sometimes everyday since my daughter just loves playing in the water, LOL.

When my kids were 4 months old they were bathed every 2 days. And even now my son has a bath or shower everyday and my daughter as well.

I would bathe my son only when he needed to have a bath. Babies don't need to have a bath to often since they don't get dirty. My son has such sensitive skin and he suffers from dry patches all the time. So to over bathe him was no good. Now that he is 2 he needs to be bathed sometimes twice a day. If he goes outside to play he is black from head to toe when he comes in. lol. But newborns sometimes could even just be wiped down with a clothe since most scream when put in a tub with water.

i think twice a week is fine when my kids were younger i would bath them 3 times a week i felt that was fine,through the day i would leave their nappy off aswell

My daughter only gets a bath a few times a week unless she gets really dirty or sweaty. In between baths she gets wiped down with a wash rag.

2 or 3 times a week is about right for an infant, as long as you clean hands, face and diaper area well between baths. They do not need a bath every day. It is not good for their skin, very drying. That's about how often I bathed my son when he was a baby. Now that he is a toddler and gets into things and pretty dirty when he plays outside, I sometimes bathe him more often.

I bathed by kids every other day, unless they were sick or dirty - then every day. Just make sure you get into all their little wrinkles to get them all clean. They still shower every other day, unless they are sweaty, dirty or sick, then it's every day.

Taking a bath for babies should be daily.My kids pediatrician when they still a baby advice it.It is good for the baby.When they are new born the nurses made it around 5am.

LOL well thats an easy one,none because they are all grown up now,but when they were babies the missus always bathed then at night,they had little nightgowns with rabbits sewn onto them,then they were tucked up in a sort of sleeping bag thing before they went off to bed,but they were good babies,the bath seemed to relax them and help them to sleeep.
