i know i still have 12 days before her due date but oh man she is on stubborn girl already. I mean really I am having contraction 5-7 minutes apart for the past three days now and nothing im still dialated to a two barely. The doc also says i have a postierier Cervix so not sure what that means except that the cervix check hurt and made me bleed. I am so desperate to get her to come out this is getting very uncomfortable. Thankfully the doc perscribed Ambien so I can actually sleep again. I have no question to go with this unless you are a phycic and can tell me when shes gonna come on out to meet all of us? See how desperate I am I dont even usually beleive in phycics. And if one tells it will be three weeks i still wont beleive lol. I just want someone to tell me shell be coming tonight which would be perfect as the in laws are in town tonight.

I'm afraid it's just a waiting game now ... and who knows, by the time I write this you may have had her! The last few days are infuriating, I know - you can't get comfortable, hate your body and just feel fed up and fidgery! Never mind - when she's born, you'll probably be wishing for a bit of quiet time to yourself again ... so make the most of it now! Bless.

Try to be patient minnie. Savanna will come out when she is good and ready. I'm sorry to hear that you are unconfortable, but that it a part of being pregnant. Though for your sake I hope your little girl will come out sooner rather than later. Try to take it easy.

Hello minnie. I wish you lucky to have your baby come out to see the world soon when it is time for her or him to. Well, my sister-in-law is going to give birth to a baby on the 28th of September, and it won't be long, just a fortnight, but the doctor says that maybe the baby will have the possibility to delay coming out in another tow or three weeks based on the current situation of the baby right now. But I do hope that the baby will come out as is anticipated with good luck, without any delay, because we are getting excited to see her or him. All the best to you, dear minnie.

Well, with mine, i asked for an inducement because it was hurting so bad and i was 7 days till due date, they got me in 2 days before my due date and gave me ambien too to sleep, and i'm glad i did it, because my pelvis was too small for childbirth, and i had to have a c-section. he's 3 months and one day old now :) hope things work out and she comes asap! :D

oh no! I know how you feel, i had the same trouble. I had 3 days of labor and still nothing. my daughter was 2 weeks overdue so I had the doc put me on oxytocin to make me go on labor. I was on oxygen while giving birth, thankfully i had normal birth. i'd hate to go on Csection after that long labor. don't worry though, everything's going to be fine. Doc says even if you don't push, the baby's bound to come out. :)

I heard that girls are usually late. So do not worry. Do you have a mid wife or a obstetrician? If you are going to have problems you should call the doctor and go to the hospital. There might be a problem. She might be bigger than you thought and that means you will need help in getting her out. I think it means that your cervix goes backwards. So I do think you should see a doctor.

I do see an OB and she is watching it. She says it could still shift positions soon enough. She also said i could still give birth even with it facing backwards its just harder oh yippeee lol.

Be careful with that Ambien. I once drove around in the middle of the night and didn't know about it until the next morning. I came outside and a headlight of my car was hanging out. I was like, oh, that wasn't a dream. Bits and pieces of driving into a ditch and almost hitting a stop sign were in my head. And then there was my aunt who was on Ambien and ended up cutting her hair. She had no clue she had done it. But most important, I hope that baby quits playing coy and comes out to meet everyone!

I forgot to tell you about being careful with the Ambien too. My hubby had taken that for awhile, he would do stuff and not remember it. You have to go to bed right away after taking it. Good luck Minnie.

Wow thats weird. So far two days and ive done nothing crazy yet lol. But then again when i do wake up i can barely make it to the bathroom im so groggy on this stuff. Ive never taken anything like this so it really knocks my butt out cold. Plus my hubbys a light sleeper if i tried to leave our loud creeky front door would wake him anyways (mabey thats why he hasnt oiled it yet lol).

I already responded to your discussion minnie but honestly I think your doctor is out of his mind to even think of given any kind of medication to you...especially something like Ambien

Oh Minnie! I so hope she graces us with her appearance soon! My boy was four days late and that was long enough for me! They had an induction date set for July fourth and he was born on June twenty-ninth! I ended up being induced though anyway as I stopped dilating at five centimeters and it had been several hours so they had to to get him out! I wish you all the best for the delivery and a healthy beautiful girl...Soon! Love and Hugs ~Heavens~

Oh minnie, that must be frustrating and painful too. All the Moms here will surely be able to give some helpful tips. But don't worry, she has to come, right? She can't stay there always, and it is just a matter of time. Till then, be patient. I hope you will soon be holding her in your arms. Just picture holding her in your arms. Cheers and happy mylotting

you may be having contractions and since your cervix hasn't dilated that much yet means that your baby's not yet that due and it would be helpful for you to have small walks which may ease the pain and if it does then your on false labor but if it doesn't it may mean that your cervix mightr not dilate well for your third baby and you may undergo c-section operation cause that's what i experienced as a nurse and as a mom

How long are they going to let you have contractions like that before they do something? Has the doctor even said anything about that? I know when I was having contractions with my first one, it was a little early so, the dr. gave me paragoric to stop the contractions. Have they done anything like that? She's not going to come out until she is ready, either way.....unless the decide to induce you because she is being so stubborn. But, then again, you already know that. I do hope for you that she comes soon. I know you must be miserable right now.

They did stop them once but she says they wont stop them now as its safe to have here now. But shes not ready yet. I may call the doc today as the contractions are closer but id rather stay at home till the last minute im only 10 mins from the hospital.

Yeah, I can understand that, too. I didn't want to go to the hospital only to have to turn around and come home without my baby in my arms.*S*

I thought my wife was going to have twins. She had a huge belly when she carried our baby-love. When I took a 2 weeks leave-of-absence from work to see my wife delivering our bundle of joy, it ran to another three weeks before she delivered. It is not that definite to determine a baby's coming-out, unless, you will be injected with an inducer. I took my wife for a long walk the day before she delivered. I was the happiest man alive!

hi minnie... i never been pregnant before... so i didn't really know how it feels... but my sis-in-law just gave birth less than a month ago and i know how awful it must be for you right now... the last minute time is always the most miserable and painful one... my sis-in-law also can't wait to get her son out as she can't bear the pain anymore... but please be patient... i believe she will eventually come out... at the moment, just relax and try to stay healthy to prepare for the delivery of your daughter... i wish you all the best... take care and have a nice day...

Oh my... i know what you mean... the contraction pains are quite unbearable... i experience almost the same thing with my daughter... it was like i was in labor for weeks... but she still wouldn't come out... i even tried talking to her at night and in the morning... urging her not to be afraid of the world... and to just come out so that i would be relieved of the constant pain... Then... four days after my suppose to be due date... my baby daughter was born... and it was like the greatest thing in the world... Just keep on walking and then talking to her... i am sure she is also afraid of the big world she is about to face...

Hi minnie! Say your name in my email and got so excited! Thought you were going to say that you had your new baby girl! Man she's stubborn! She must take after Grandpa Bob!lol Don't tell him I said that!lol Oh, I'm sorry I know how bad you and your family want to see her already. She's just not quite ready. You know how us girls are. She's just primping and wan't to arrive fashionably late! She's just being a girl! She's not in a hurry! She'll be there when she feels like it! Don't worry minnie, it won't be long now. I have a feeling it will be very very soon! You will be surprised. I think it will be any day now! I'm pretty good at predicting and no I'm not a psychic! You just hang in there I swear it's going to be sooner than you think. So take care my dear friend and we will be praying for you and that beautiful daughter of yours!

Well she will come out actually in her own due time or til induction time rolls around. My sister was only in labor 13 hrs and my neice she is now 6 yrs old wouldnt come out and couldnt cause my sister's hips are too thick for her to come thru so they had to c-section. Bummer man! But anyways, she will come out soon......I promise girl, if you really wanted her to come out you should do some ordinary things like vaccuming the house or prep the nursery or even do a bubble bath.
