When did first you get your ears pierced?

I got my ears pierced when i was 14 and once my dad saw them he just walked up and ripped it right out of my ear, Dang that hurt bad. But when i came home with them pierced again at 18 he didn't even care. I don't know why but he just gave up on me i guess.

Here in the Philippines, most mothers prefer having their daughters ears pierced when they're still a baby. My ears were first pierced when I was a few days old. 2nd pierce happened when I was 20 and the last pierce was when I was 25. I have 3 ear piercings.

i can't remember anymore when i first got my ears pierced... i think my parents do it for me when i was still a baby... they feel that it is safer and cleaner... and also the risk of infections is minimised as baby didn't eat many varieties of food yet... so i think my parents do it not long after i was born... and i can't remember my first earring anymore... but now i prefer to wear a simple heart-shaped white gold earrings... take care and have a nice day...

I first got my ears pierced when I was 4 years old. My mom did it. I wouldn't advise the same.

Cant remember the exact date but know I left it till quite late think I was like 19 when I finally plucked up courage to get it done. Stupid thing is it really doesn't hurt and the way they do it...it's over within seconds well more like a second. Guy I used to work with said he did his himself with a safety pin and a cork..sounds nasty!!! Always have something dangling from my ears now like outrageous earrings that really stand out and get people talking.

i got my ears pierced when i was a baby at my doctors, and he didnt pierce both ears at the same time...so he pierced one, i squirmed & cried and when i was calm again they did the other ear, lets just say i wasnt too happy to get the 2nd hole done and now one piercing is lower than the other!!

I remember I was 16 when I first got my ear pierced, I had the left one done because it was fashionable then for the guys to have a stud in their left ear, and it was considered weird if you had your right ear done! I know strange! But then I went and got the right ear done as well a year later. I also got my inner ear pierced as well but I didn't do that till I was 30. I just wear hoops now, I don't like studs and they are always gold, I hate silver!

I have my ears pierced on my 6th birthday as a present. My mom took me there straight from kindergarden and I was very happy. She was afreaid to pierce me so we went to a professional and it didn't hurt a bit. It's hard to findmy favourite pair as i get new one every no and then but right now my favourite eerings are a pair I got from my boyfriend on my birthday^_^ They're really nice:P

I got my ears pierced when I was 9. I was in 3 form and wrote my final paper on excellent mark. So my mum decided to make me present and took me to the hospital where the doctor pierced my ears. No pain at all. I was happy at that moment. It was so great to change earrings: I had one set of golden earrings and several simple. Now I have 3 or 4 sets of golden earrings, but particularly I wear only one. I love them very much. They are simple in shape, but very beautiful.

I was 6 when I got my ears pierced. My mom had wanted me to wait longer, but I was the second last girl in my class with unpierced ears and I cried and begged until she finally said yes. This was around Xmas time. I remember going to the mall to have it done, at one of those little kiosk things. I picked out my earrings, and the lady got all set up and did the first one - I screamed bloody murder and wouldn't let her touch the other one! I insisted I just wanted to go home - my mom told me I'd look silly, but I didn't care at the time. The next day I came home from school crying. Everyone had made fun of me and I begged her to take me back to the mall to have them finish the job. So we went back, and the Santa Claus at the mall actually came to hold my hand while I had the second one done. I was much braver the second time around, and my mom even took me out for a special meal for being such a brave girl. My favourite earrings for the longest time were the first ones I picked, a set of silver coloured heart shaped studs with little diamonds in them.

My mom wouldn't take me to get my ears pierced so I went and did it myself when I was 18. I also took my sister when she turned 18. My favorite earrings right now are some spiral ones that I bought in San Francisco.

I was 18 and had mine done at a jewlery store. I have a pair of earrings that reflect the colors I wear - they are kind of like mother of pearl nail polish or opal or maybe even close to what mood rings are like... I like them best! I like white gold or silver.

My first ear pierced happen when i was 6 years old. My mom bought me a new earing and i need to get my ear pierce first. It hurts a little since i was still a kid then. But after that i started to buy new earings and collect them. My favorite earings is star, flower and pearl earings.

I got my ears pierced for my 10th birthday. I had a birthday party and my mom took us all to the mall and we went to Clairs and everyone watched me get my ears pierced. I almost chickened out and tried to back out of it but everyone convinced me. sooo.... i did it. it wasnt that bad and I was glad afterwards!

I got my ears pierced at a piercing shop when I was 20. Currently, I think my favorite earrings to wear are glass spirals.

Think I was 14 when I got my ears pierced. I lived with my grandparents and boy did I get in crap from him for doing this. He thought that there should be no added wholes in the bosy. I love my earrings and am lost without them!

I was about seventeen when I got mine pierced. My mother for some reason never believed in having them pierced. but when I moved out thats what I wanted to do. My daughter got hers pierced when she was about five. She's going to be nine next month. I don't really have a favorite pair, I usually just wear studs. I really like piercings. I've had other things pierced. (unmentionables). and soon I'm going to get my lip pierced. I can't wait, thats going to look so awesome.

Hi BinaryKat, You aren't going to believe this but I was 21 years old when I got my ears pierced for the first time! My girlfriend bought me a pair of pierced gold earrings and said that we were going to get my ears pierced so I could wear the earrings that she bought me! She had been bugging me to get them pierced for awhile, but I was scarred. She purposely bought me the earrings so I wouldn't be able to say no. After the first ear piercing I got the second holes about a year later. Then about five years ago I decided to get my third holes. So now I have 3 sets in each ear! Now I can wear three pairs at once! I just love earrings. I mostly have different sizes and shape hoops. I have a few posts too. Most of my earrings ar 14kt gold, but I have a few that are Sterling Silver on long chains.

i guess my ears were pierced when i was about three days old. lol. the hospital nurse did it to me i guess. i love earrings, i have studs, but mostly dangling ones. i dont have a favorite pair though, my collection is nearly about twenty different pairs of earrings.

I was 15 when I had my first set done, then I had another set done every year for three years.
