Do you notice personality changes during a Full Moon?

On a full moon Ihave always enjoyed the beauty and companionship of my wife. We sit in the moonlight for hours having drinks and basking in the glory of the silent night as the moon moves across the sky. These are most romantic moments. I have never ever felt that there is a change in personality. I think these are all excuses to get out something which a perswon wants to say or do and does not have courage in the normal times to say or do.

I have not noticed this happening with my partner, but I will tell you that when I was teaching elementary school, there was a definite change in the students when there was a full moon. They became more unsettled and less likely to follow directions during that time. I don't think they had any idea that there was a full moon, but I just happened to notice that everytime I found myself asking, "Why are the kids so rowdy this week?" it happened to coincide with the full moon. I think there might be something to it.

I have heard that, and experienced that myself. During full moon usually I become restless or not feeling well, it doesn't happen all the time but only most of the time. On top of that my period is irregular, if I have my period the same time as full moon or close to it, it's a nightmare I probably would need a tranquilizer shot hahah poor husband of mine, good thing he understands

I don't know about Full Moon Syndrome with my spouse but I know that it defiantly does exist. How do I know this I hear you ask? Well I used to work at a radio station and every and I mean every full moon all of the "gifted people" would call the radio station. It was like clock work! I can't even begin to tell you of all the weird things, offers etc. that came on full moons. The night time DJ's dreaded it cause here come the tin foil hat people. We were in a small market too so I can't imagine what the mega stations were like during Full Moon Syndrome.

Those are in opinion known as "scripted events" and "blaming the moon". And as for the pesonality changes, nope, and sometimes I don't even notice the Full Moon, me being indoors and all. If the full moon does have a real proven effect on people. I could sure use some learning myself.

I surely have some personality changes during some days in a month and so does my GF. But I never notice moons coz I'm indoors most of the time and I dont know if its full moon or not. So I can't relate the changes with moon phases but we both surely have personality changes for some days in a month.

I've never noticed. I think that my personality is usually the same. Some times when I am around moody people it will rub off on me, so I try to avoid people when they are cranky. I hear the elder folks tell me that during the full moon that they suffer arthritis more. They also use to tell me that I was going to have my babies during the full moon and for some reason they were always born during that time.

No, I don't notice anything. Maybe its because I have never been alert to moon changes but now that you provoke it, I'll try to next time there's a full moon.

There has been a higher record of violence and aggression around the full moon. I personally haven't really noticed feeling any different according to the moons movements, it does really interest me so I'm off to do some research...

I have read that the moon controls the tides...if we as humans, are made up, to some percentage, of water....might it not then effect us? Working at a hospital the last few years I have definately noticed there is a huge influx in our ER on the full moon.

To each his own. I personally, do get easily irrated whenever there's a full moon. Unlike other days where patience hangs over me. But when the full moon is at hand, I experience a change in mood as mentioned. Well, I hope I don't stay like this. It's like being a werewolf. heheheh

My mum is a nurse and my dad is a policeman and they both swear that people go crazy around a full moon. My dad says there are far more violent incidents at work, and my mum says there are far more people with injuries from fighting admitted to her ward. They say this happens without fail every month. At first I thought there might be a logical explanation - like the fact that perhaps many people get paid just before a full moon, so they spend more money going out getting drunk, which causes increased violence. But I think the new moon falls a different time each month, so its probably not that. Who knows!

I sort of believe that is true because I know of alot of people who attitude changes during a full moon.

wow! that's interesting for me cos m reading about it for the first time. I've never heard of personality changing during full moon... and i wonder if you can tell me more about it. where has this started from...I would love to know about it in detail if there's anyone who can provide me with valid information on the matter,it would be very kind of you.

This is indeed a very interesting topic of discussion. My first thought is that your partner might be a werewolf. Seriously, I have not noticed that in myself or my hubby. I must check out something about this. I know that you should not buy crabs during full moon because they said that they fascinated by the moon so much so that they won't find food. So the crabs are thinner during full moon. I also noticed a lot more activity in the river near my apartment whenever it's the full moon. Looks like the fishes there get a little excited. So I think that the full moon has some effects on the animals but not sure about human beings though. Will find out more...

no i dont notice that but the time when my menstration is near then that is the time my personality will change to become irritable.

I never came across with someone whose personality had changed during a full moon. This is interesting and my first time to know about this. Lol.

hi small , yes, there is some influence, if you have tried doing up the pattern in the calendar you will notice it .. that during certain times of the month or even year there are some changes in individual character ... i have done a pattern calendar on my husband, and noticed it .. during the "growing moon up to full moon" he he not in any romantic mood ... but during the waning moon ... he is so romantic .. He is easily angry during the 2 days before and after and full moon ( so there is a full 5 days to worry and avoiding him) cheers
