There are many people in the world who dont believe in god or any kind of religion. Do u think that they are happy to do this. At the one stage of their life they feel that they are wrong. At that time they want to back sometime they can but sometime its too late to back. I believe in god.

There are 3 main purposes of a religion as I think; 1. To make people and the society a better place to live 2. To help people when they at trouble. 3. For people to achieve spirituality or higher state of life. If there is a person who does not believe in God or religion, but always engage in good activities and never intentionally do bad and evil, then he can achieve the first purpose by himself withour any religion. If that person has the power to face problems by himself because of his above qualities he does not need a religion for the 2nd purpose as well. But to acheive the 3rd purpose he will need the help of a religion. That is also if he really wants to acheive the spirituality. I believe for a person who does not believe in areligion or God the 3rd purpose is not required as long as he is a good person. At the same time if that person always enage in evil and never do any good, whether he believe in God or religion or not he will have to pay the consequnces. I have a religion, I believe in it and I follow my religion to my best extent. According to my religion I do not believe that God can do me anything and I don't worship or pray.

I think that what religion a person is born into depends on their home country and when they are older they could stop believing in that religion. Like a person born in Ireland might be Protestant or Catholic. Whilst a person in India might be born a Hindu or a Sikh. If a country allows its people religious freedom that is wonderful and it is lovely when different religions can live peacefully beside each other. The government in the Maldives says all its people are Muslim! People from countries like the UK, Australia and the USA often make their own mind up about religion, they might not believe in God. One of my friends used to go church but now he is unsure of whether he still believes in God. One of the best things about the world is every person is different. I am so interested in world religion and see this when I travel in different countries.

Freedom is great. I agree with you, everybody, despite whatever religion or race, should live peacefully together.

The most religious place that I have been to is Israel. I saw the Dome of the Rock and the Western Wall. Then I went over to the West Bank to see The Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. I have been to the Maldives where I saw lots of different mosques.

if they feel that their way is the way they should believe then i have no right to question it do it. they can believe in whatever religion they want and if they don't believe in any then they don't. i would NEVER think that anyone NOT christian or who doesn't believe in got is wrong. i'm christian and as a christian i have no right to judge others but treat them with an open mind and respect. i feel that most christians have lose that insight that was given to use. god gave us an ultimate gift. the freedom of choice and he never demands that you MUST believe in him. and i don't even think he'll condemn those who don't. anyone who lives with a good kind heart and soul regardless of their religion or beliefs will be rewarded in the afterlife to their satisfaction.

i don't believe that such people really deny that god exists. the reason for them saying that they don't believe god because generally True God is misrepresented to them. Many who professed to be believers of God are misrepresenting God. God will punish sinners, God will burn non-believers eternally. Such belief leads everyone to either (1) Hate God, "i don't believe a God like that exist" or (2) submit and be slave to that vengeful and arbitrary god. Well, the God of Love, the true God is doing everything to make himself known to EVERYONE. He uses the nature to tell that He is love, that He is creating being NOT TO REQUIRE THEIR WORSHIP, but TO GIVE HIS CREATURES their good, welfare and everything that can prosper their existence. Like the ocean, giving waters to the clouds. The clouds pours out rain to land, giving life thereto. the land gives water to the streams, lakes and rivers, giving life to water creatures,,, and back to the ocean... NEVER ENDING CIRCLE OF GIVING. That's what God wants.. He will give his creatures beneficence, goodness, and welfare, to have life. God is the source of life. Let's say God is represented to us by his nature or creature as a God of Love, I am very sure that we will give our praise to Him freely. Not because He required, no never. But because, we are thankful to Him, to his goodness, to his unconditional love. AND SO LIFE CONTINUES. God gives us without condition, as a result we give back to Him praise with our freewill. This is the Circle of LIFE. Do you want to live eternally? Then believe GOD IS LOVE.

For me,the best thing to feel for every person's belief in religion is respect. No matter what a person believes in, we have to respect his or her views. My husband is very religious. If given the chance,he will hear mass everyday at the Santo Nino de Prague Shrine here in Davao. Honestly, I am not very religious as per my family's orientation. Yet, I pray to Santo Nino and Mama Mary a lot. I have a friend who with her family stayed for a long while in Israel. There religion is called Bahai. I admire their devotion to the Lord. I cant just bear the thought that they will go 40 days of no food, not even water sunrise to sunset during lent. This practice is the same with our muslim brothers and sisters' Ramadan. Its a good way to loose weight...LOL, but I think I going to die. As I have said, we need to respect each others views. Even those of the aetheists who doesnt believe with any superficial beings. They have their own reasons which Im sure they can justify.

Each one of us has their own beliefs. Unfortunately, there's how many kinds of religion in this world and a lot of pagan "gods". We can't force a person to believe on something he/she refused to do so. It's up to them how to welcome from others beliefs. Basically, we need to respect each others CHOICE what to believe in this world.

Do u think that they are happy to do this. At the one stage of their life they feel that they are wrong. I dont believe in any god and yes I'm very happy...And as a matter of fact there WAS a time in my life when I felt I was wrong....Thats back when I was a Christian....and thats why I left it behind me...My life has improved by miles since making that very wise (for me) choice...

The fact that a person is an atheist, that he does not pertain to any particular religion or that he does not believe in any kind of god, does not make him a bad person. It does not mean that they are frustrated or unhappy. They have a right to believe what they believe. Even if I find their reason a bit lame, I do respect their opinion. When I look around me, the treas, the sky, the sea, the birds, other animals, everything reminds me of God.

"too late to go back"? I feel it is never too late to come back to a religion. But that's besides the point. There are many happy, well rounded, kind, decent people who don't believe in any G-d and they never did. I know they have he right to believe or in this case not believe in a G-d or religion.I don't think they are lacking anything. Just because I am religious doesn't mean Everyone has to be religious.

I don't think atheists feel like anything is missing in their lives, and are just as happy as religious people. everyone has different needs in life. I don't feel that those that follow a religion different to mine, or no religion at all are any less fulfilled than I am.

If God is God, when can it possibly be too late to come back to her? I really don't care what people believe, as long as they are not harming anyone they are free to do, and think, as they wish.

I agree there are a lot of people in this world who not believe in God or any religion,I know that I believe in God and that everything happens because God wants it to happen, and if I ever meet someone who does not believe in God or religion I will tell them it is their choice what they believe or do not believe in but that I will always believe in God,but I would not just stand there and let them insult God if they decided to do so.

I'm a Christian and while I can't speak for all Christians, I believe that most of us who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ have a peace that other people lack. I know some people will be offended by this, but I pity those who don't know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and I'm not trying to be "holier than thou," I truly believe they're missing out on a blessing. I know the day will come when "every knee will bow and every tongue confess" that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. I just wish it were now rather than later.

It depends on the person, about his belief and views in life, maybe there are some reason why they don't believe in God or in any religion, anyway they have brain to be used to think if they're doing is right or wrong.

Almost all of us have the ability to believe or not believe and the ability to explain why we feel that way. It isn't make one right or wrong it is just what it is. I believe in a higher power that has both male and female aspects. For me that is right, for others it is completely wrong. Unless someone is directly attacking me for my believes I don't bother with theirs.
