I think its crap. People have been predicting the end of time since the beginning of time. And my understanding that if god wanted to end the world no one but him would no the time.

These predictions have come out from time to time ever since I was a little kid. I hope my daughter and grandkids don't hear about this latest one because they might take it seriously and get all upset. I must say, I wish I knew if it were true because if it was I'd go so far in debt and have so much fun for my final years...lol! Annie

Don't waste your time on such non-sense. Remember that no one could ever predict the end of the world. Where on earth did you come from? If someone could predict the end of the world, do you think people would still want to live tomorrow or the next day? Or do you think the would even want to work tomorrow or the next day. No, they will just sit and wait till the end comes. That's why the divine power never wanted anybody to predict the end of the world. I don't understand why some people would even entertain such non-sense in this day and age.

hmm i don't actually believe that the end of the world is 2012..because human prediction is always false..only the one who can predict and decide when will it happen is the one who create the planet, time..i know that the world is going to end..and that is prophecy in the bible..in the book of the revelation written by john..it says that the world will end..there will be a great tribulation that will happen at the end of times..because i am listening to the program in channel 37 or 99 in tv.. Why would God destroy something He created? No He is not going to destroy it He will get rid of the wicked and the rightouse shall live forever on it. It will happen when Jesus comes back to Earth in his own time.

I am anxious to know what will happen after 2012. Earlier people were saying that everything will end in the year 2000. Jesus showed his two fingers that mean everything get ended in the year 2000. But nothing happened and now 2008 is running. Now people are getting SMS on their mobiles about the same. I also don't know about the reality. Let us wait what will happen.

The Mayan calendar ends in 2012. This fact has lead many people to jump on a band wagon and take up the act of prophesy. Who's to say that people didn't just get tired of counting back then and decide that someone else could do the rest of this later? Not me! You know something? Alpha Omega - means - the beginning and the end. For some reason I don't see My Higher Power ever ending and I think he isn't gonna end the lifes of those of us he chose to keep. From what I have read, that decision was made a long time ago, before we were "born" in the life we know now. Whatever will be, will be! Don't worry, be happy. Live every day to it's fullest and don't let "talk" get you down.

only God knows when the world would end. only God can control everything. you know, He can make those so-called scientific experts' minds turn blank anytime and make them dumb in just a snap. No one can predict the future!! even those that can be predicted nowadays (like weather) has the tendency to give the wrong results, what more predict when the world would end?

Its scary to think that all may be lost in such a small amount of time . I personally think that god is here for us in some shape and form in everything we do . I definitely hope it doesn't end , but if it does , then I can only hope that there is something else waiting for me after all this and for everyone I love , including my pets :P

I think it's a load of bologna! They are just saying that because that is when the Mayan calendar ends. How can we say the world is going to end based on an ancient culture? And even if they are somewhat right, I am still more likely to believe the proposal that the earth will simply finish an orbit cycle on that date. Really I don't know what will happen in 2012 and frankly I don't care. If the world ends, we are all getting what's coming to us with our arrogant selfish nature. If it's not, then the idiots who claim it is will be exposed for the fools they are and all those who believed them will be right along with them, while those of us who dismissed it as crap will laugh at their expense.

I do not find much is discussing and wasting time on it. There are full t years to live and I would like to live a lovable and livable life during this period. What will happen 2012 is a talk of the time to come. I believe that in indulging in the event to come better to exploit the present in full. What will happen will be with all the world and the scientists are doing the best to think about that.

this kind of predictions are heard of most commonly but i think its only in the hands of god and is not decided my any of the human as he is the creator and he is the one who decides when to end it. there were many predictions like this before also if you remeber but what was the result, the world is still running well so i believe that as we dont know our own future and how can we make out the whole worlds future isnt it a strange question? so its better we do all our things as usual and just pray to god for everything happen should be good, if the world stays or going to end and morever for everything which has started has its end and world too has it but its not in our hands and also its time is not decided. so why just thinking and wasting time on this and instead we can pray god for everything good to happen and also do our things we want and like it.

Why should I believe in all those crap? Only God can tell when all of this will end. Even if God whispers me that by 2012 the world will end, I still prefer not to tell anyone. Science still has far ways to go, not all scientific facts are true, sometimes it could be just a theory, a hypothesis and the likes. Prediction is not science. Science has something to do with logic and when we speak of science something has been proven and not predicted. Science deals with trial and errors to accomplish things. Whoever scatter this non-sense story got nothing to do with his life. Don't make me laugh by telling predictions and that it is science. Corrective reasoning is one of science characteristics, unless they have the correct logic to explain this, I might believe this as true. By just referencing something happened from the past to correlates the present is absolutely idiotic. We have gone so far to change the world, only God can tell us our time is up.
