Hi all my good friends. I haven't been very active because I am in the process of having cataracts removed from my eyes. I had surgery on the left one on the 9th of September and am scheduled for surgery on the right one on the 23rd. vision still a little squirrely until the other one is done and then the two of them lined up. At the moment I can't read or see computer very well but the brightness and colors in my left eye is amazing. They thick cloud is gone and I now notice the one on my right eye more. Before it was my "good eye" because the other one was so bad. I won't be allowed to drive for about 3 weeks after next surgery but then should be bopping all over the place.
Tracy ok the last time I heard from him, just anxious to be home and that should happen in a couple of months. Still saying prayers for him daily and don't get to much time with him on Instant message but he was ok the last time I heard.
Fire fighter Todd was deployed out the morning after my surgery with Indiana Task Force One and spent the night that IKE came in a the reliance (I think) center in Houston. Heard on the news that it was heavily damaged but he is ok. he said Galveston was devastated. Hopefully he will be home before next surgery to give me one less thing to worry about.
Really do miss chatting with you all but as you can probably tell from my typing- computer is a real challenge right now.
Will talk with you all real soon I hope.
Hugs to all

Glad that you can find comfort that your boys are doing okay. Lifting you up in prayer that your cataract surgery goes well and that you will be back doing the things that you enjoy doing. Also I pray a hedge of protection around both your boys and that they return safely home. Jesus name we ask and pray Amen.

My Papaw had his cataracts removed about six months ago. He said the difference was like night and day. He's got dementia, diabetes, and heart trouble, but by golly he can see good! I'm glad that is one less thing he has to deal with. It has got to be a relief to be getting that done. Did you think there would be as much of a difference as you are having now?

Well sweetie, I wish I could say it is a relief but ---- these last couple of weeks have been a little squirrly. My surgeon told me it is because my eyes aren't working together right now but that when he does the second one he will line the new lenses up to work to gether. Right now, I don't need a perscription on the one he did but still do on the other one so we had to pop out the lens on my glasses on the side I had surgery on and leave the other one in so I could see out of that eye. My balance is a little of because of this but after the next one which is this coming Tuesday I am not supposed to need glasses except for reading.
However I can tell you that I am amazed with colors right now. Things out of the surgery eye are so bright and viberant. Can't imagine what it will be like next week when the haze and blurryness are gone from the other eye.
Kinda nevouse and anxious to get it over with. Wish me luck.
Hugs.

Thanks dear friend. Can't wait to get back to full function and get my boys safely home. Maybe then I will calm down. Do you think? hehe.
