How quick are you in dressing yourself?

This is interesting. For me, it takes a long time because I have a hard time deciding what clothes to wear. Even if I prepared the clothes a night before, but once I wear it, I keep on changing my mind when I see I don't look good in it. . The more I can not decide when my hubby keeps on calling me to hurry up because we will be late for the appointment. There are times that I will just bring my shoes and put it on when I'm in the car. Did it happen to you too?
Many times it happened to me. Sometimes my hubby will just sit in the living room waiting for me to be done. Then he would complain he is waiting for 10 minutes, why so long???

Ha!ha!ha! Typical of a woman. You hit it Babes, it happens to me many times. My husband would always end up saying,"You really are a woman, fickle-minded." Ha!ha!ha!. Because of this I really have to prepare my clothes the night before and have to make up my mind that I already like the fit and will not change anymore, otherwise, I will end up messing the whole dresser and my husband will not like that anymore. Ha!ha!ha!

hahaha!!! yea, you're right, a woman thing. Like me, I have a natural wavy hair and I want it straight, so I have to spend 30 minutes to press my hair. Well, ladies have plenty of things to apply and stay longer in the mirror. hahaha..
I really want to look good when I go out to meet people or attend party or go to church. Maybe most ladies are like that..

You too have wavy hair? Oh Babes I have too and I really hate it. It used to take so much of my time but I am thankful now that there are beauty shops around specializing in hair straightening. I now had my hair strengthened... this usually last around 6 to 10 months.

Oh yes, I have a wavy hair. I used to straightened it when I was yet in the Philippines because it's cheaper there. Here now? hahaha I don't want to spend that much money just to go to the parlor. I just bought hair straightening device. I just plug it in.. and press my hair. It will stand straight until you will wet it again.
But the thing is, I can have the curly style sometimes and sometimes the straight one.

there is a weird thing with me.. once i decide on what i choose to wear beforehand, and without even looking at the wardrobe, i'm set for it. and nothing can ever make me change that decision. this might mean that i get dressed in a short time, but no! it takes much effort to try it on, see if it fits and again, see if it really fits GREAT! well, there's a fair chance that i might not look set for it, so i have to doodle on the mirror for a long time. that part usually consumes much of my getting-dressed time. besides, i don't have anyone who can advice me on what clothes to wear for the day because i'm an only child.

that is definitely an advantage, but for me that does not apply because i only live with my parents, and most of the time they are nowhere to be seen inside the house for me to consult them.

Thats an interesting question actually.
Well i do agree with ur husband in ur case, since women are always confused about what to wear and they will generally take a long time in getting ready.. LOL
I am not in a habit of preparing my clothes a night before as to what am i gonna wear next day. Moreover, it doesn't take me long to decide what i am gonna wear. I dont think that guys would hardly take time in getting ready. They would just hook up a jeans and t-shirt and get ready or a pant and shirt. they dont have many other options to decide among them.
Sometimes, if i would be getting late for office, it may happen that i am getting ready while i am brushing my teeth.
I hate waiting for someone, and i can really understand ur hubby's situation. Hey there is nothing i am saying against you, but i think women are supposed to be like the same way as you are..LOL

Coat and tiw , he can even put up later in the office or while driving..
Ha ha.. just reminds me of a comic sequence, where the wife gets up early, and starts getting ready. after 1 hr the husband wakes up, performs his daily rotine and they both get ready at the same time.

The fastest I could get dressed is about 15 minutes but sometimes it takes even longer. I think of what to wear the night before but there are times when I wear it I don't feel comfortable or I don't think it'll suit the place I'll be going to, that's what makes my dressing up longer but other than that, I'm done 15 minutes tops.

It would take me---foreveeeeeeeeeeer!
LOL!
My husband reminds me to start my "ritual". LOL! If he is home,a good 2 hours before we leave,he starts announcing that I should start my bath and all. If he is out, he sends sms that I should start with what I am supposed to do.
First, I will brush my teeth. Even if I did a few minutes back. I should brush my teeth before hitting the shower. Then the ritual goes like this. Shampoo.rinse.conditioner.soap the body.scrub the feet.facial wash.feminine wash.wait for 5 min.rinse.
wipe.head for the electric fan if its warm or hair blower if cold.dry the hair.put on ponds sunblock, even its night.LOL. cotton buds the ears and nose.sunblock for the arms.deodorant.sunblock for the legs down.put on underwear.and think what to wear.think,think,think.LOL.then cologne all over the body.then wear clothes.then brush teeth again.then spray mouth spray.then wear lipstick.then look for my bag.and my cellphone and my etc etc etc...then choose what foot wear to wear.eeeee, then thats the time my husband starts changing.bath and all and change...he still makes it to the car ahead of me.
He doesnt get mad or what so ever.He just tellsme, if Iwont change fast,we wont be leaving anymore.I dont fret. We will still leave.LOLHe is such a good hubby.patient and all. Though I change always early enough...we are never late to an appointment. I ancipate my changing ability!LOL
crazy I am!

It won't take me long to dress myself. I only spent about 3 to 5 minutes to dress myself. I have the habit on preparing what type of clothes to wear for the day. I prepare it during the nigh and hang it up in front of my closet. I'm always on the rush that's why I don't want to be delayed a bit specially during dressing.

Yeah, I dress in a flash always. It wouldn't be any harder for me as I set everything ready for the morning.

It is kind of funny because I can get myself dressed in seconds . I grab the first thing I see in the closet and my husband has commented that I can get dressed faster then any woman he knows but when I go to dress my little ones it takes me forever to find what I want for them to wear and then to fix their hair and find the right pair of shoes for them to wear for the day . It takes me longer to pick out clothes for my children then it does for me to get dressed .

WOW!!! get dressed in seconds? but yes, I agree with that little ones. Most mothers were having a hard time dressing up their kids. Like my sister? oHH1 takes time fixing the hair of her little girl, matching the shoes and everything... well, you are proud to see your kids look very attractive too.

I always pick out what I am going to wear the next day the night before that way I don't have to decide the next morning and I can have the outfit pressed and ready to throw on the next day.

It doesnt take me any time at all to get ready lol I just put whatever im putting on and then thats me ready and finshed.years ago it was very different and the preparations for an evening out were long and lengthy,my hair had to be set, just right mind, and my make up,well that took forever, lol and if i didnt like the first attempt then I would wipe it all off and start again, until it was just as I wanted it to be.The clothes were another bone of contention, which dress didnt I look fat in?what colour suited me the best, the short skirts showed my knobbly knees lol ,but those were the dsys when you had set your cap at someone, you had you eye on a certain male and he was going to be yours whatever the cost rofl

Yes, same here, it really takes a long time for me to dress up, because usually, I'm having a hard time to decide what clothes to wear as well. My mind keeps changing when I look at the mirror and see that I don't look that good on it. Not only clothes even in shoes and sandals, I find it hard to decide on what shoes or sandals might matched to my clothes. So, usually, I would allot 1 hour or so to dress myself or sometimes, I prepared the clothes I would wear night before.

Sometimes I will have the same habit like you too. I just keep on changing my mind on the clothes I wish to wear. If there is no special occasion, normally I just take around 15 minutes to dress up after I have taken my bath. But if there is a special event,I will need to put on make up and take longer time to choose clothing ,it will take time around 30 minutes. I will prepare earlier so that no one will need to wait for me.Lol.

That was really funny........... I think it is the case with almost all males, complaining for waiting long to go for outing.. However i am very systematic and whenever i plan to go out at that very moment i decide what outfit to wear and a slight makeup. I get dressed up within 10 min.
Enjoy!!!! Happy myLotting.......

It depends where will I go. If I just go to the mall and meet my friends, I just grab clothes from my closet but If I will going to an interview or an event, if I haven't featured myself few days before the exact day wearing this dress I have in mind to wear... I'll cram and changed few dresses before deciding to wear what I picked. And people waiting for me will be shouting to move faster so, I will put my make-up on the car, wearing my accesories and shoes also...

i dress really quickly. All I put on are my farm clothes and I'm off to the farm. I seldom have any occasion to dress fancy and that is how I like it. Cheers!!

You're so funny!!! You actually remind me of my mom. She's always so fickle that I always tell her to hurry up. Waiting sucks. Anyway, in my case, I don't usually change my mind when I put on an outfit. I go ahead and plan what I'll wear if I know that I'll be going out. If it's an impromptu thing, then I'll just throw on a shirt and jeans. It's my go-to outfit anytime, anywhere.

ha ha... but when it comes on me, i never made delay. i dont have any plans in dressing up fast. but being active after bath(only those few momemnts) i dress up fast and completely be ready after twenty mims including the time for selecting the dress. i never had the habit of selecting dress before the day itself. but its a good habit and we can save much time, if we follow.
