Yes it's official there is a 4th Final Destination film and it's out in the USA next Summer, August 2009!
For those that love the Final Destination films I am sure you will be just as excited as me to hear that they've made another one!
Final Destination 2 was the most goriest for me and the most horrific of the three they have made, although I have to say that they are all pretty scary and laden with huge helpings of gore.
Personally I think the Final Destination films are far more horrific and gorier than Hostel and Saw! What do you think?
So what was your best Final Destination film, 1, 2 or 3? and which was the most goriest of the three?
Do you think Final Destination ranks as one of the most goriest films?
So will you be looking forward to Final Destination 4?

Hi Wolfie, I have seen all the Final Destination Films but a while ago so I get mixed up which one is which but my favourite is the one where they don't get caught up in the log truck wreck on the motorway but don't know which film it is. I only ever wtched films if the girls are home so will get to see the fourth eventually once out on DVD. Ellie :D

I think what makes them even more horrific is that they are all things that really do happen in real life to people and the headlines will say someone killed in freak accident but we don't get to see the gore of it all thank goodness except for the rubber neckers on the motorways. This film shows it all in grphic detail and colour. Ellie :D

I agree with you i like Final Destination 2 also. I have watched Hostel and Saw but i can't imagine how they could kill people that way. At least in Final Destination it appears that they are really destined to die no matter what they do to avoid it, so the title says. Yes, now that you have mentioned it will be exciting to wait for Final Destination 4.Sure, i will be looking forward to it!

I have seen an old movie like that, they kill to get the organs for rich people who are sick and in need of these vital organs. In the movie they kill these illegal people who have no legal documents. If that really happens then that is quite disturbing and scary isn't it?

I just wish that it doesn't happen for real.......but i know that here, in my country, there are people who are really in need , sells their kidneys for money. At least, they undergo an operation and the sale is legal because they will be signing a document for it.

Wolfie I have only seen one Destination movie, I don't know which number it is, maybe you can tell me so I can order the others. I don't want to say too much and spoil it for anyone but it was the one in the amusement park and I also recall a scene at the drive-up window at the fast food place.

You will thoroughly enjoy them, as long as you are not squeamish lots of gore, in fact the second one is a gorefest ;0) ENJOY!

Oh I love Final Destination and I didn't know they were coming out with a 4th one. I cannot wait to see it! I loved all three but the third one was my favorite so far.
As for Saw, Saw Two was my favorite but I loved all of them. I haven't seen Hostel yet but I want to really bad. Have you seen House of Wax? It is awesome and I was hoping they would come out with a second one. If they have already, I haven't heard of it yet. I am a big horror movie fan and will watch just about any horror movie there is. :)

Wow! I had totally forgotten House of Wax! That was a great film but wasn't that scary, I guess it was more suspense than gore, Texas Chainsaw Massacre the original was good, but rather dated now. I think the most horrific film that I've ever seen which actually gave me nightmares! Fly 2, I can't watch that film again it's the most sickly, brutal, disgusting, vile film I have even seen! NO way do I recommend it, I felt sick watching it.

I thought the first and second ones were definately the best, I was not overly impressed with the third one, but still had to watch it simply because I had seen the first two! So, no doubt I will have to watch the fourth one just because!

I only saw first one and I liked it. I didn't even know there are sequels. I'm going to download them now heh. It's kinda confusing you compare Final Destination to Hostel and Saw because I don't remember it was so gory. But then again I only saw first one...
btw if you like gory movies check Frontiers. That's probably goriest and sickest film I've seen.

I've seen all 3 Final Destinations; I'm not one to turn down a movie like this. However, I think it may be getting out of hand... it's gotten kind of dumb now (in my opinion). But, I'm sure I'll be renting it when it comes out on DVD! lol

i've watched the Final destination movie series and man, i like it! i'm actually, honestly looking forward to watching it. it's great, and the events that happen are nicely plotted. one thing i like about final destination is that it's not predictable. it'll take you by surprise!

I think FD2 was the goriest as well. 2 and 3 really started piecing things together. I hope the fourth installment will be good. I haven't watched Hostel or Saw, so I cannot compare and contrast them with Final Destination.
