How many of you actually enjoy shopping? I despise it. And I'm a female. While I do enjoy shopping if it's for my kids.......I have to be drug out of the house, (by my mom or sis), to do any shopping for myself. I just truly do not like it, to say the least. Am I crazy?

I'm with you, Sunshine! I hate shopping! I don't want to fight for a parking space, or to find what I want, or to find a salesperson, or to pay. I do most of my shopping online. I even hate grocery stores, and if I could get groceries online and have them delivered I'd love it!
There are so many more enjoyable and important to do with my time, I hate wasting it on shopping!

When I was working two jobs (and raising three kids) I discovered that it actually was -cheaper- to order my groceries online and have them delivered. The $5 delivery charge and missing out on managers' specials was more than made up for by cutting out the impulse buying. And of course, it was two hours of my time that I had free to use for other things. Do you have a Stop&Shop with Peapod delivery service in your area? They used to be a great deal.

For a long time, Publix, the largest grocery store chain, delivered, but the first time I heard of that, and the first time anyone I know heard was when they announced that they were going to stop delivering because the service wasn't used by enough people!

Thanks for the "best". You've motivated me to search for a groery delivery place in town. So far, I haven't found anything, but maybe it will pop up some time. I'd make sure they had plenty of customers, so they'd stay in business! Lots of people I know are too busy for wasting time on shopping.

A bit diffrent maybe but not crazy. It rare that you hear about women who hate shopping but it is not for everyone. I a bit strange in that I am a straight male who enjoys shopping, a rare find im sure. There is nothing wrong with being a little diffrent I would think your crazy if you were to say that you are perfect and have no flaws what so ever.

I'm not crazy about shopping but I like getting out of the house and doing it. I really like finding bargins which my mom is good at so I usually take her with me and shes good help with my kids. My second pair of eyes. She likes shopping more then I do. I really hate Christmas shopping during the holidays it wouldn't be so bad if it was just me without the kids but people are crazy during the holidays and will run you over no matter what. I do love black friday even though I will miss it this year. I get a high from it. lol the rush of trying to get that thing on sale before they run out. Standing outside in the cold at 4 am. Knocking people off my Christmas list. When I was working I would save half of my pay checks just for that day for a couple of months. I'm really sad I will miss it this year but maybe next year I will be able to do it.

I love shopping. For some odd reason it relaxes me. I especially like to go thrift store shopping, I can do that all day. I can out shop my girlfriend even, she'll be tired and ready to go home but I'm still trying on shirts......Weird....

omg i love to shop! in fact, it sometimes gets me in trouble with the hubby! lol i guess there have been a few times when i go out to buy something specific and then once i am there looking around realize that i am really not in the mood to shop. but i really do love to spend money, and i love to be able to buy new things, both for myself and others. i guess grocery shopping would be my least favorite.

Shopping is like anything else in life . Some people like to do it while others despise going out and looking for something . My cousin often asks me to do her Christmas shopping for her because she really can't stand to do this and she knows I love to shop even when it is for someone else . My husbands step mother aslo doesn't like to shop , she finds it really tiring and hard on the back .

That doesn't make you crazy, but that sure places you in minority:P I have a friend that doesn't like shopping, she says it's because it takes too much time. When she needs something she buy it in man style, I mean if she goes to buy sweater she buy's the first one she finds and go back home. I couldn't do that. I do enjoy shopping and I find that kind of relaxing but I hate to spend money on a things I don't really need.

You are not crazy at all. I am a female as well and I hate shopping. However I hate shopping because I have a back injury and it never fails that someone will brush up against my back or run smack into me and then all heck breaks loose as I will definatly tell whoever off. The funny thing is the ones that always run into me never apoligize either so it even gets me more ticked off and furious. I also can't stand crowds. I hate Christmas shopping infact. I never have and never will like it. It's just abunch of crazy people being crazy and most of them are not in the festis mood and grouchy. I never liked it before the injury either. I always stay away from shopping centers and malls when it is Christmas. Otherwise I really do like shopping as I love spending money.

In my opinion there are two types of shopping. I don't mind the grocery shopping in fact I find it a challange trying to find the best deals and matching my coupons up with sales. The other type of shopping - the clothes or go to the mall shopping - I hate. I don't find anything enjoyable or fun about shopping. I always get depressed with the prices, exhausted waiting for my kids to make up their minds and get disgusted trying on clothes. I try to do most of my Christmas shopping online so I can avoid the stores and malls.

Nope, not crazy. I hate shopping for clothes for myself as a general rule, and don't much care for doing the grocery shopping. I do, however, love window-shopping - whether in stores or at flea markets or antique fairs. I go out often with just a few dollars in my pocket and no intent to buy anything unless I see something I just can't live without. I really enjoy buying things for my house - even things as little as kitchen dishtowels and pot holders. It's one of those silly things that makes me feel so good. I figure if I can destress with an hour or two of poking around and come home with something that cost $5 and makes me feel happy then I'm doing pretty darn good for myself. It's sure a whole lot cheaper than therapy!

I for one hate shopping. I'm with you on this!
Never understood how humans can spend hours on a cramp shopping complex, after merely 5 mins i'll start to have headaches and so forth...
