Hey bestest friend! Of course not! That's not the way to
do it! I give best response for the best response! It can
be the best response of not agreeing with me. As long as
the response is a well thought out answer that backs up
the points of the discussion and proves me wrong, why
wouldn't I give it the best response that it would deserve.
I have no problem admitting that I'm wrong. If I am asking
for help with a problem in a discussion form then of course
I don't know more than someone who really might know the
answer so let them show me what I don't already know!

Hey bestest friend,
I agree. And sometimes people say stuff you have no idea what there saying. But yea. you learn a lot on here. So you have to be open minded, and listen sometimes.

hello walkthetalk, No, I do not. I actually give the best response to those who have different opinion than I do. I feel that make a discussion more interesting. I also like to give the best response to those who make a dialog with me in a discussion. It is what I like to do, discuss before I close it down.

Your right, so many of the post all about the same thing, and a lot of them you can't even make
sense out of them.

I like to do that also. It seems like most people only respond to the post that agree with them though. Glad to see someone else different.

Definitely! I hate to see folks simply dismissing other's opinions, chalking it up to evil intent even, it seems, that or assuming the other opinion is based on ignorance.. I find this almost never to be the truth and also find more common ground with others than we sometimes expect...

You are right. If they would answer the discussion, that has the disagreement they might see other view points in life. Not just there own.
Thanks.

That is how I regard discussions. I put them out there for all to see and respond to. I do not put out things that it would hurt me to have opposite opinions on. Part of the great attraction of MyLot is the opportunity to meet people with different experiences and different points of view.

If I never considered others opinions and views than I would be a different person.
I have learned a lot, even here on myLot by reading others views. I have even changed my opinion about a few issues from some others opinions.

Yes, I have done that also. After I wrote a post, then I read the responses, and they changed my mind. That has happened a couple of times too me also.
Thanks.

Hi there walkthetalk!
What I love about this site is that we get to meet different people from different walks of life. I think that what makes myLot really unique is that it is made up of people who have good ideas to share. Whether people agree with us or not on certain issues, what really matters is that we get to learn a lot of valuable lessons from them. People may not really agree with you but they do have great points. In choosing who should be given the best response, I think that what is really important is that we respect the opinions of other people.

Right. But I don't think that every one responds, If they don't agree, They don't respond. I even seen one post that said if you don''t agree with a post, why respond to it. I think We need all view points.

It's not necessary for us to agree or disagree with the discussions. If we are interested in that particular topic,we just voice out our point of views. We just raise out our opinions on that certain issues. Mylot is a site we can share our different opinions,I think there is no boundary on where we should stop our expression of opinions. Lol.

Yes but there are many post where you may agree or disagree. And your opinion counts just as well there. If one doesn't agree with it, they shouldn't skip over it. They should give a response on why they agree or disagree.

I respond or give best response not only to people who agree with me. That would be very very unfair. We are here not to only appreciate people who have same ideas with us but to hear other people's views. I usually respond to topics which I found interesting or to topics which the discussions are easy to understand. As you can see, my number of post is only 54 and I have been here for more than a month already. It's not that I am selecting only those who agree with me. It's because it's only sometimes that I have time for mylot.

Very good. When I am responding to topics a lot of times, I see people only responding to those who agree with there there topic. That just doesn't make sense to me. I also only respond
to topics that are of interest to me, that I can relate to. I have been here for almost 3 months. I still have a low number.
