Chucky and Tiffany... - Chucky and Tiffany...

Right now we have two celebrities as houseguests. Thankfully they don’t ask for food, the bathroom, the phone or any form of entertainment. They’re a little nerve wracking but that’s just b/c of their looks. Who are they?? They are Chucky and Tiffany…the serial killers that star in Chucky, Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky. Not the real stars but the dolls. Yup, I have two dolls that are approx. 3 foot tall sitting on my couch. My Mom bought them at a yard sale and planned to sell them on Ebay but then they came here for me to clean them up and make them look nice and now I’ve kind of gotten attached them…I may end up buying them off her and just keeping them. I do have to say though that the first night they were here I must have gotten up 4-5 times checking to make sure they hadn’t moved. Would you buy them if you could? Would it have creeped you out to have them in your house? BTW, the pic is what the dolls look like. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Hi Twoey, How can you have become attached to them just reading this post has given me the creeps. I have a doll in the loft for the simple reason that no matter where I placed her her eyes seemed to follow me, she freaked my daughter out to until in the end I boxed her up and put away. She is worth a lot of money so that why I haven't got rid of and was bought when my daughter was born by a family member but if I could I would totally get rid off. Answering from email so will take a look at the pics now after I post although the thought is making me shiver. Ellie :D

Just looked at the pic and commented, definately not my cup of tea but I am sure that your mum will get a fair amount for them of she puts them up for auction. I certainly wouldn't want them in my home. Ellie :D

Yeah, I knew a woman who didn't like dolls looking at her, either. I used to have to hide this little 6" doll I had in my bookcase whenever she came over.

I actually like the Tiffany doll and she's the main one that I like but she and Chucky are a set so I don't want to split them up. He's allright but he's definately something that takes some getting used to. Besides my Nephew loves him and can't wait to stay the night and play with him...although he did ask me to lock them in my closet just in case...he's seen the movies too. Your doll sounds great...maybe you could post a pic sometime...I think I might start collecting dolls. I was freaked out by a doll movie as a kid...it was a Twilight Zone episode and featured a doll called Talky Tina that went around killing everyone. Since then I haven't liked dolls so this is kind of therapy for me LOL **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Ummmm.......I saw those movies and I don't think I could sleep at night with those dolls in my house. But there is no doubt in my mind that your Mom will have no trouble selling them.

Yeah, I'm about 80% sure I'm gonna end up buying them...so their pretty much already sold. LOL I think that's why she sent them home with me to start with. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

my hubby had one of those damn chucky dolls and it scared the sh*t out of my little girl and i made him put it away. he had it right on the shelf over the bed, and my little baby girl use to get so scared. she would wake up from nightmares that the doll was trying to get her. I told him that's it, you have to put it away. i am not one for getting scared easy, however, i just rather not have things like that around. it makes you think spooky thoughts and thoughts, negative thoughts, and what you think about always comes to light. not like the dolls are going to get up and walk around or get you. but other things can happen. i just rather have nice things to look at and think about

I do not like Chucky, his kid, or his ugly bride. I do not like horror pictures at all. But it does sound like your mother has a good find. Have fun with the Chucky family.

I don't want the kid but I do like the Tiffany doll and since she already has Chucky with her I might as well keep them together...besides my Nephew really likes him. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Twoey those are the coolest dolls!Of course I'm a fan of the movies. Now you need to get the Seed of Chucky doll. That one is the rare one.You should just buy the dolls from your mom. That would make her happy.I would love to have those dolls for my collection. But they would scare my kids. And I would also be checking them to make sure they have not moved.Enjoy your guest.

I've never seen the Chucky movies but seeing brief previews freaked me right out! No, I wouldn't buy a doll like that. Life is creepy enough sometimes without such a houseguest!

Couldn't stand the movies, so definitely couldn't stand the dolls in my house. And if they were at my place, they would be shoved into the attic or garage so I could quickly forget they were ever there. Not so much the creep factor, just the plain ol ugly factor.

I hate those movies! I would never have those dolls in my home, they scare the crap out of me. Also I think I would lose sleep because the kids would not be happy with them!

Funny! They would not bother me too much.I can remember tho, when my granddaughter was little we had a witch sitting in a rocking chair who would cackle as you walked by. My granddaughter would always go the other way.

I think this is so funny that you are attached to them. I would not like them in the house. I did not watch the movies, because I do not like that type of movies. Now if you have room for Chucky and his bride then I say go for it. YUCK! on my part.

Yes. I think it would freak me out, to have them in my house, at least when I first saw them. I think it would freak my kids out more. The first time I saw the first Chucky movie, my two oldest boys were supposed to be sleeping, but kept sneaking around the corner. About that time, the "My Buddy" dolls were big, and looked a lot like Chucky. Seeing one of those freaked the boys out, bad. It was in a local movie rental shop and the boys wanted to leave.
