It's very interesting when you are asked about your Age, most people don't tell the right age, why people only start counting from the day you were born forgeting that the whole being started at the time of conception. So is it true that you should either add eight/nine more months depneding on whether you're male or female.

Because that is the accepted practice for generations now. At least here in the United States. For one thing the exact date of conception is still impossible to figure out, so when if you went by conception (the moment the egg and sperm meet) you wouldn't know your birth date at all. So it always goes by the date you are born, which is very easy to figure out since you are in the world now. lol Besides why try to make us all older, faster? That's just mean.

Oh and regular pregancies barring any complications are all around 9 months. It doesn't matter if you are male or female. Same 9 months. Sometimes babies are born premature, but the hope is always 9 months.
