Any good exercise for trimming the stomach?

Ido an hour and half of exercise and yoga every morning but my stomach is not getting flat as I would want it. i doa lot of sit ups too. Anyone knows any exercise spceifically to trim the tummy and the hips?

there is *NO* excercise you can do that will burn fat around a specific area. just becuase you do crunches your body does not say 'hmmm well i guess i'll burn the fat around my abdominal muscle then'. your body burns fat fiarly indescriminately. what you have to do is cardio. 45 minutes to 1 hour of a medium to slow paced jog will facilitate a lot of fat burning. do this 4 days a week, for 2-3 months and you will see noticeable fat loss in your body. for more info check out rickfit.blogspot.com ! hope that helped.

I use Matt furey's "Magnifecent seven" Which works real well. You have to add some dynamic exercises into it but, I have had great results. The core exercise is the "Farmer Burns Stomach flattener". You exhale all the air out, suck your stomach in, take a deep breath holding the muscles in and then act as if you are forcing the air our while holding your throat closed while trying to have a bowel movement and holding it in. Sounds complex but it is pretty easy. Hold for six seconds, relese, catch your breath then repeat as many times as is comfortable.

I have always found that crunches have worked better for the tummy then full sit ups. Also do the side crunches and that helps the waist area that holds a bit of fat. Not sure if this helps you much ...but try it!
