What to gift do you give a new baby.

My favorite baby gift that I received was diapers. Couldn't get enough of them and they were expensive. Now when I go to baby showers, I usually make a diaper "cake" and decorate it with things like bibs, pacifiers, thermomiter, and some of the smaller things that people usually don't think about. Everyone always gives blankets, receiving blankets, clothes, cloths and the such but I like to be different and give them things like, bottle cleaners, outlet covers and lots of diapers!

well, i obviously received more gifts with my first son, as i had my baby shower for him. i don't know if i received a favorite gift. i got a TON of blankets, and at the time i remember thinking that i had such a ridiculous amount of blankets and would never use them all. but i was wrong. i think it's great to have alot of them. my youngest is one now, and i think he has chosen his favorite blanket. lol but it's nice because i have so many extras- if that is in the wash i have others to use in the meantime. when he was a baby i would use them to bundle him up in his carseat in the winter. and now that it is almost winter again i am sure he will use more when going to sleep. blankets are just a nice, comfort thing i guess, so i really like having them. plus, most of them were handmade, which makes it even more special to receive.

my babies have many clothes given by my sister and friends it really is useful and i do not have to buy them...my problem now is just milk and diapers.

I think the favorite gifts I got were handmade crocheted blankets from my Aunt the lil sets that included the nail clippers, nose sucker, med dispenser ect. Otherwise I got a few outfits, receiving blankets w/ my kids. I always hoped for a truck load of diapers in sizes other than NB! Clothes bigger than NB were always appreciated.

Well my baby got lots of presents, different baby stuff, from blanket to milk's bottle. A set of baby accessories, booties and mittens. And a pair of clothes. When my baby gets bigger he recieved different toys, like teddy bear,stuff toys and eduational toys like babies books, building block toys and mini bikes and a musical ball.Happy posting.

I just love getting diapers. You can never get to many diapers. That or gift cards, then I could go out and by my own diapers. I also like getting clothes, to see all the cute stuff people pick out. But I don't like them as much as diapers.
