I saw a lad who must have only been in his late teens purchase a 60+ Woman top shelf magazine today, I believe that every body should live and let live but I felt sick, I thought he is going to be looking at naughty pics of people that could be older than his granny. Is is just me? What are your views. I know age is just a number BUT? Ellie :D

Hi Shelly, It was a magazine full of naughty ladies over 60 doing naughty sexy things. It could have been for an older relative but he looked throguh all the pages before buying. Yes each to their own but I just felt it was a bit odd thats all seeing someone SO young buying it. Huggles. Ellie :D

LOL
yeah, weird. I am still embarrased to look at the covers of magazines like that in front of other people, I would never go through the pages, no matter what the age of the models in the magazine were.
I would be looking like this
Kinda weird, I hope the magazine was not for his aunt (tho he made it obvious it was for him)
lol
yeah, I guess to each his own (he could have been beyong curious)
lol

Hi Tamara, He was over eighteen else he wouldn't have been allowed to buy but this type of thing is everywhere not just on the top shelves in shops. I am glad you don't think I'm a prude as I you know I live and let live but I thought this one wasn't right. Huggles. Ellie :D

I am not prude, believe me, in my time i have appeared in some of the so called top shelf magazines. However, you are right there is something slightly seedy about this kind of thing. All i will say is this, I would rather a young lad look at pictures than attack anyone. Unfortunately, those who cant get access to the printed matter relating to their particular perversion, tend to attack

Okay, Ellie, I've not heard of 60+ Woman top shelf magazines. Does that mean that it pictures women over age 60 in "compromising" positions? No clothes, etc.?
Well, that is curious. Hard to believe he had his choice of all the other magazines that feature much younger women but that he, instead, selected that one. Hmm, it doesn't really make me sick or upset, but it does make me wonder what is going on with him psychologically (and perhaps, socially).
Guess I learned something new today. Didn't even know there were magazines like that focusing on women over 60. Thanks, Ellie, for educating me.

Top shelf must mean adult and not Quality? If I am understanding this correctly, seems kind of odd. heheheh There are a nummber of reasons maybe its for his grandfather to help interest him in getting out of the house or maybe the kid is just curious, who knows this kind of funny. hehehe :) thanks I needed a laugh. :)

Here you have to go to specail stores to buy these things and you have to be of age to purchase these type of books. When I was first here over 8 years ago one store had about A 12 YR OLD GIRL selling these mags in store filled with video games and kids playing them. Almost as if they prizes for playing. Thank God the store and somethings are changing! :) Take care amikin! :)

oh of course it is quite possible he was buying it for an elderly relative, but i think he was more likely examining his own taboos
live and let live, yes, as long as no one gets hurt?
Just a point, I wonder what goes through the minds of those 60 year olds where they end up dropping their drawers?

hmmm it is sad to think people buy any of these books, maybe these are the only women in books that have real original body parts, there are a lot of those books for younger people and from the covers it is easy to see nother is for real, with their so obvious fake boobs and such, womens bodies are looking so unreal these days, soon boys of this age are not going to know what the real thing is...

Hi Lilaclady, I just felt sad when I saw this, maybe he was buying for an older friend or relative but he sure flicked through it plety of times first. I am 45 and yes am original LOL, no nips of tucks or airbrusing with me, what you see is what you get but definitely not to be seen in the centre of such a magazine. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one. Huggles. Ellie :D

Wow! I didn't even know magazines featuring matured woman of that age were even in existence . Most the "top shelf" magazines that are sold in my area feature women in them that look to have just turned 18 years of age.
This may just be a phase he is going through. Who knows young boys have the oddest thoughts imaginable..lol! He very well could have been getting it for an older relative, however, curiosity does get the better of us from time to time, so while away from the prying eyes of family, he had himself a little looksy. Who knows what sort of foolery this young man was up to, very odd indeed

True! Although it wouldn't surprise me as much, since I have seen the younger generation purchase some really odd stuff, from the nearby adult shop. Don't see how anyone can do it, since even if I wanted to buy that sort of stuff, would never have the nerve to enter into a place like that.

I don't know ellie if I saw a lad purchasing a ladies mag. I would think his mom or gran sent him to buy it for her, or he was being kind enough to purchase on on the way to visit his gran. Some lads and lassies are sweet and purshase things when for their grans and gradas when they ar egoing to visit them and some don't know what to purchase for them, while others know what to get. And keeping them up on the "news" for the older people seems like a nice thing to do.

that would suggest that he wanted staisfaction, don't you think? I would think that any young person like that had been abused by someone older, it happens more than people know about. And maybe he just thought there was nothing wrong with it. Then again, who knows?

oh my no, I wouldn't and since I don't by magazines off of the shelves I simply had no idea. I order mine. Yes, that would be a bit weird to see to say the least. Maybe he likes older women. It makes me think that an older woman has taken advantage of him sometime or another and this is what he knows.
You just never know.

Hi Moondancer, someone else suggested that maybe he had been abused in some way by a much older woman too, although others have said maybe he was buying as a joke for a friend but it was they way he looked through first and then bought that made me feel uncomfortable. Huggles. Ellie :D

I had no idea such publications existed, but then I only recently discovered there are magazines filled with pics of fat women!
I'm 55, so maybe I should be thinking of a new career in five years time.
I could flash my bits for the teenage boys.
I wonder if they airbrush out the wrinkles...

Hi Paid2write, I think you would have much more fun with your writing than to pose for these sort of pics so I don't recommend it as a career change LOL. No airbrushing available either! I didn't realise they done these either so I don't know which shocked me more the fact they print them of the fact this young lad bought it. Ellie :D

Ellie of course you aren't a prude..for some reason i look at these things the same way as you mentioned cause i'd hate to find someone looking at me at that age..I get self conscious now as it is when these young boys come in and flirt with me cause of my store...

BWAAHAHAHA! They SERIOUSLY have a magazine called 60+ Woman? Oh my goodness! The only thing I can think of is that the hapless lad was buying it for his poor old grand-daddy who was in hospital and needed a bit of excitement to get his heart rate on track again. Yep, age is just a number ... in my case A LARGE ONE! Hahahahahaa! I'm 51 today, so it's a cheering thought that I've still got 9 years before I can appear as a centrefold - woo!

Hi Guybrush. Hapy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthdat dear Guybrush, happy birthday to you. I hope you have a wonderful day, I really do. I have a friend in her late fifties who looks great but I can't see that she would be doing this sort of work as part time income when she retires LOL. The way he was looking through it there was no way it was for his grandad! Sad really eh as he was a really young lad, maybe curiosity, who knows but these mags aren't cheap either so he could have seen what he wanted flicking through in the shop if it was just that eh! Oh well each to their own eh! Huggles. Ellie :D

Thank you SO much, Ellie! I was amazed to see myLot had clocked my age over to 51 for me ... very thoughtful of their automated system, I must say! It really IS sad about the young lad if he fancies looking at old girlies in the nuddie ... I wonder why? (Next time, do ask!) I'm betting his grandpa shuffles into his room and feels around under the mattress to borrow them when he's out - hahaha! It certainly takes all kinds to make this mad, mad world ... xxx

I know age is just a number BUT? ........
BUT, i want lower numbers!
ellie, the lad could have been looking for ideas for a present for his
mom. or, his grannie. or, me !
i'm an artist and i often buy mags just to use the photos or words
to add to my paper emphemera collection.
i'd love to know the name of a magazine which has nekked pics of grannies !

Ewwww, yeah I am pretty open minded when it comes to age gaps in relationships etc but something is a bit odd there really! A young guy looking at that sort of magazine would be very weird. Or he could have been buying it on the sly for his grandad?? But I do agree with you that if he was buying it for himself then I would have felt the same.

Well...maybe he was buying it for someone else? Sometimes things are not as they seem. I always give people the benefit of the doubt. Sure, I get burned that way sometimes, but it's the life I prefer.

Hi Cbreeze, Yes I did find it a little strange but some have suggested maybe he was buying as a joke for a mate or even for an older relative but he did have a good look through before he bought. I agree each to their own but this made me a bit uneasy I guess. Ellie :D
